This place is such a gem! Place has been around for years, go check it out! The entire staff is awesome!

I was so excited to come here for the first time after hearing all about their tea. I brought a friend of mine, and the entire time we were inside the store we were followed around by one employee who treated us as if we were thieves. I bought some tea regardless, but there was no friendly conversation from this woman at all. Absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. If you’re not a middle aged, upper middle class white cisgender woman, then you’re treated like filth. Don’t waste your time, and avoid this place AT ALL COSTS.

The bad staff-specific reviews for this place are legitimate. I've only gone in here a few times, because their loose leaf tea is very good for sure, but wow their service is literally the absolute worst. I do not typically go out of my way to review particularly bad establishments, but do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. This one is kind of a nightmare.

The ONLY place to buy great spices in Tulsa! You save so much money buying from here! Fresher spices weighed out so you buy only what you'll use! No waste! My Grandmother took us when it was only spices & a few cooking utensils in downtown Tulsa way back in the 50's. She shopped there since the day it opened. I still get my chili powder she used for tamales & Mexican food. I recently restocked my spice supply from there. Great for finding hard to find spices like tarragon, marjoram, savory, etc. & so much fresher dried spices than in jars @ store. High $ compared to back then since it's grown, but have good variety of items not sold anywhere in town. Worth every penny, tho'! Great to go & browse for a special kitchen or home piece or gift.

I go for the infused oils and vinegars. Garlic infused EVOO is a game changer in the kitchen. If you like seafood or homemade salad dressing the vinegars are unparalleled. We drive 4 hours to get to Tulsa and Mecca is ALWAYS my first stop. In addition to this they also have delicious coffees and teas, tumblers, specialized kitchen items, aprons, trays etc.

Went in today because we heard about their coffee from a friend, but the blonde lady who was wearing white pants and a yellow top followed us around the store watching us. We quickly left because we felt we were being treated like thieves when we really just wanted coffee. She even watched us as we left, very rude. It kinda ruined our evening.. that 100 years they’ve been in business may end soon if they treat their customers that way.

When I placed my order, she got on the phone continued to stay on the phone for several minutes, then said
Sorry didn't see you...Need to be more attentive sad 😞

The only place I buy my coffee beans. Great selection of really good coffees, and a just a fun shop to peruse! Aside from coffee, they sell useful kitchen items, baking accessories, household items (both useful and decorative), spices, syrups for making your own drinks, and quite a lot more. Not to mention the people who work there are some of the sweetest people in Tulsa. All around one if my favourite spots to be.

Visited for the first time on Valentine's Day 2017 with my husband. LOVE their vinegar flavors and can't wait to try out the olive oils! They also have a small selection of loose leaf teas & whole bean coffees to choose from! Loved the kitchen gadgets available and the staff was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back!

I went to get coffee beans today and no one was wearing a mask even though the city mask mandate is still in effect. I went to the check-out to make my purchase and the staff and the customers in front of me were having a political discussion and making fun of the sheep who wear masks and will get the vaccine. I came to buy coffee not hear their political agenda. I will not be returning after what this woman was saying behind the counter. Awful customer service and made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
