Had a great experience today at Fulton Street books and coffee. The staff was amazing. The coffee was hot and fresh (locally roasted and sustainably sourced from Guatemala.)
Wonderful black owned business in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood or make the drive, spend the day, and find some real hidden gems … Or just get online and they will ship almost any book directly to you. #bookstagram #books #blackownedbusiness #tulsa

We stopped in last weekend and the place has a great feel and vibe but it took a L-O-N-G time to even get our order placed, no offense to the barista, as they were the only employee in the coffee shop. The coffee was good and the barista was pleasant and I enjoyed the front bench seat by the window while I did some work on my laptop.
One thing I didn't like was the QR code on the door stated "IDGAFWTCDCSYBWYMFM" and I had to look it up as I didn't know what it meant and it related to wearing your MF mask and that turned me off! I will always comply if a shop asks me to wear a mask, but I just didn't appreciate this.
I'll end on a good note...there was a writing on the wall facing the West in the store and it was a brief story of the owner and I really enjoyed reading it!! I'm happy to see new places in North Tulsa!!

Awesome spot! Such a hidden gem- their coffee is amazing and the bookstore attached to the coffee shop is aesthetic and has a good collection of books/merchandise

I’m not sure why I didn’t visit sooner but so glad I did! They didn’t have a book I was looking for but the cashier was friendly enough to order it for me. I look forward to many more visits and trying items from the coffee shop!

Always friendly. Great selection of books and unique high-quality drinks.

Coffee was just ok. I wouldn't call it a "bookstore". I was hoping they would have a decent selection of new and used books but was greatly disappointed in the "selection".

I must admit that I wasn't aware that Tulsa had a book store with books exclusively written by people of color. It was a very pleasant surprise when I stumbled upon this beautiful store near downtown Tulsa. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there is a lovely coffee shop attached. The only complaint I have is that the coffee shop was out of everything I wanted, but there may have been a good reason. Nevertheless, my daughter and I left very happy with our purchases and plan to spread the word and return in the future. Thanks Fulton Street Books & Coffee.

This bookstore is absolutely delightful. The staff is helpful and informative, the atmosphere is amazing, and the selection always has me spending twice as much as I planned. They are willing to chase down whatever new thing I am getting myself or the kids. I can't recommend them enough.
