This smoothie wasn't that great, but it may have been because I didn't know exactly how it worked, you tell them what you want in it. However I drank it and felt refreshed. A tad bit pricey but I've learned people spend whatever on coffee, I really want to try the vegan milkshake next time. The atmosphere due to COVID was way more calm, less people and way more spread out. The music sets a cool chill vibe.good environment to study. The have a patio as well if you want to enjoy the outside.

Hipster coffee place as expected. Seems to attract large college crowd. I felt the coffee was good but the prices for drinks and food seemed a bit high for the quality. Maybe less diversity in food dishes would allow for a reduction in some of the prices. Parking lot was a bit hard to negotiate but that is not their fault. They seem to be making the best with what thye have available. I also like the attempt for regular community outreach. Enjoyed my visit.

Great selection of food and brew! A few screw ups on the order, but we got a prompt apology and correction. Can get a bit crowded, but so far this is the best place I’ve found to get work done outside of a library. Less of a millennial-scenester vibe than other places I’ve tried, which is refreshing.

Joe was quick and took my order:
I ordered the London Fog Latte, Iced and made with Half and Half instead of milk...
OMG it was Soooo Amazing!!!
It was sweet but not too much, but also refreshing and so so smooth!
Thank you Joe!!! I will be back frequently for this!

Really like the atmosphere of 918 and love having it in the neighborhood. Coffee is okay, but its much more than a coffee shop. They do a lot of things really well here- good beer, wine, snacks, great hours (opens early, stays open late). Great place to study/read.

Update: This happened Monday morning around 9 am. My father just sent a record of his contact with someone from the company. This showed me that even if the problem wasn't completely fixed, that it was well on it's way. I have changed the rating because of the quick response of the company, but one star off for the fact that it happened in the first place. I wish to thank the owners for dealing with the matter with urgency.
Me and my fiance have gone to this coffee shop a few times before and thought very highly of it at the time. This time however my fiance went up there herself to get a cup of coffee. While she was waiting a man came in cussing at the employees and some other customers he's in butt up to my fiance and threatened to hunt the cashier down and kill her. One of the employees then told my fiance not too worried that he comes in from time to time and does this. They did not call the cops or do anything in order to protect the customers' safety which is completely unacceptable! I have never in my life heard of any business that would behave in this manner neither me or nor my fiance will ever return to this coffee shop and I strongly recommend that you and your family steer clear as well.

My son and I so enjoy 918 Coffee Shop just East of Lewis on 11th Street. It is the opposite of pretentious; it is good casual fun. Your visit will not only include excellent coffee (that's a Cappuccino for me.) You can pick records to spin, board games to play, people to get to know or something to quietly read. If you are looking for a high end scene where you go to be seen, this isn't it. Rather, 918 is clean casual comfort. With light fare from the sandwiches to sweets, it is a genuine winner.

The coffee was great. My biggest disappointment was the Avocado Toast. It literally was a bagel and a tub of Guacamole!!! So disappointing!!! Einstein Bagels has a better Avocado Bagel than what they gave me. Will be back for coffee, but not the food.

This place is the closest coffee shop to my house and thank goodness they are great! Sometimes packed inside w/ tons of T.U. students all studying, family playing a board game, and chatter. I take my pup often and sit on the patio. They are expanding ideas like music nights.
