RED PEPPER Lawton

Red pepper is one of the best Asian cuisines in Lawton. Their ingredients are fresh and their signature “Red Pepper” dishes are really good, especially their breading. I highly recommend you stop by.

Food was excellent as far as flavor and portion. However, after I ordered, they gave me all my food sealed in to go containers and a plastic bag. I stated I wanted to dine in, and they said I could eat my food there. I ordered pho, so I asked for a bowl to pour my pho into. The young lady behind the counter was less than enthusiastic to give me a bowl. Once I ate, they barely checked on me. I had to ask for utensils. The 2 young people behind the counter looked like they couldn't have been more than 15 and were on their phones with their back to the counter most of the time. Great food, terrible service.

Ordered general tso, was way too sweet and not spicy at all.
Ordered spring rolls and they lacked depth.
Thai boba tea was good, but again way too sweet.
Waitress was either anxious or just didn't want to be there, she was barely there.
Overall, not a great experience but we don't live here in the town this resides in, so they could be great to everyone else.
There is room to improve.

Honestly I thought it would be a bit more fancy inside but it was clean just not what I expected.
The food was good and the staff very nice.
Only one curry on the menu.

Late post!! Red Peper is a flavorful and delicious food—my first time visiting family, Celebrating my Mom's birthday. We started with appetizers, egg rolls, chicken satay, and crab Rangoon. The main dish we got was pad thai, curry chicken, spicy cajun fries rice, the famous red paper chicken, short ribs and more!!. Our food was tasty, savory, spicy, and sweet, just as we liked. Service was excellent, portions were huge, and the food did come out fast. I highly recommend it if you want an ideal Asian cuisine fix! I managed to capture some of the dishes before We devoured the food!

Never going back there ! Asked for no onions because I am allergic then got food bite into an allergic reaction luckily I keep my epipen. Called back fir refund was told I never asked for no onions even though I been allergic for my while life (40 years). Why lie ? Take responsibility u messed up and give me money back ! Smh people that business employ os the reason lawton business fall. U have lost a customer and will tell everyone I come in contact with on post NOT to eat here.

Update 8/26/'20 Loved it the last few times I dined here, everything was delicious. Today I order some Asian short ribs they were tough n inedible. Brought it to staff attention wasnt offered n e thing fair only recieved a reluctant 15% disct. So disappointed in today's dining experience 😔 at least the lettuce wraps n the tropical fruit dessert I love to get were delicious. Was expecting a more accommodating view and action on the restaurant's behalf. But I'll try them again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Pepper, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-owned Thai restaurant exceeded all my expectations with its delicious and well-priced dishes. I started with a Vietnamese coffee which was strong and perfectly balanced. Then, I ordered the large bowl of pho, and it was undoubtedly one of the best pho noodle soups I've ever had. The broth was flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked.

The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was exceptional. I felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment I stepped in. Red Pepper's extensive menu features a variety of Cambodian (Khmer), Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes, all of which are made fresh and to order. If you're a fan of Vietnamese coffee, I recommend you try it here with boba.
Just a few miles from Fort Sill's Main Gate, Red Pepper is the perfect spot for a delicious meal. They also have an international grocery store next door, where fresh produce, live blue crabs, herbs and spices, and seasonal crawfish are found.

Overall, Red Pepper is a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend. I would give it five stars for the excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service. If you're in Lawton, Oklahoma, or the surrounding area, enjoy a bite at Red Pepper!

The food is phenomenal!!! The flavors are amazing and beat every Asian cuisine we have ever tried! The service was fast , courteous and professional! Absolutely wonderful experience!!!!!

Anytime someone new to the area asks for restaurant recommendations I always tell them to go to Red Pepper. The red pepper shrimp is my favorite but the chefs shrimp is pretty good too!
