I took my girls this week and they enjoyed the Young Royals Tea Tray. The entire experience was wonderful for them. Our waitress Nickie pampered them from the start with their own teapots and tiny cups. She served them as though they were little princesses. The tray came with gluten free sandwiches and desserts. They even brought a candle for the cake since it was for the youngest girl’s birthday. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. They each took home a souvenir teapot cup full of pink lemonade. I got the tea room trio and had chicken salad on a croissant, tomato basil soup, and a salad with feta dressing-all served with lemon souflé hot tea and everything was delicious. Overall, a perfect time with my daughters. I will definitely return.

Good: Attended a baby shower here, food and desserts were great, facility was wonderful. Very busy, but large enough that we weren't cramped.

Not good:. Parking was a nightmare. The small parking lot was totally full (110% full, including a few double parked vehicles, I sure hope they knew each other). We had to back out of the parking lot (large pickup truck), and had to park over past Taco Bell, behind the gas station, and walk through the back gate.

I took a big party of 5 year olds, which I know is unenjoyable for servers, but Inspirations made it known we were unwelcomed. I called ahead of time and made sure the manager knew we were coming. The service was unbelievably slow and they seemed so inconvenienced. I don't know why for even a larger party, they wouldn't take orders. Having the moms leave the table and go up for orders and more tea just encouraged the girls to want to move around and not sit still.

Ultimately, while we were wrapping up/getting to go boxes, a few of our children got restless. The manager or perhaps an owner came out of nowhere and scolded me for the girls running. I was already disciplining them (which she heard) and it felt unnecessary for her to be so rude to me. Of course, I do not want children running around China! I was very aware that was inappropriate. Then 2 servers came (quickly- for the first time all day it seemed!) and insisted the tables be cleared. I spent $235 and our party probably spent close to $300. That's not a small penny for sandwiches and hot leaf water. I guess they didn't need my business.

I worked in restaurants for 12 years. I
get that no one wants to deal with children, but it's a tea place with a children's gift shop. Who exactly are you trying to get as clients? There were 5 Mother's in attendance and 1 already hosted a children's birthday party at the tea room. There was a lot of potential for more business at our table. Past tense.

I have always had a good experience until now. I tipped everyone 20% despite the bad service and will try inspirations again. It has the luxury of being the only tea place in town, which just encourages bad service. I do hope for a more positive experience next time.

Don't go here... lots of better choices in Edmond & OKC! Terrible service, terrible "policies" - we made a reservation and they would not honor it. They told us that they gave the table to someone else - but it was empty. Then, they told us that they were waiting to clean the table. It was already clean. I don't know what the problem is but this has been a consistent occurrence. I waited to write a review and even went back to give them the benefit of doubt. No one looks happy. No one looks you in the eye with a smile. No one greets you.
It starts at the host table (empty most of the time and you have to stand there and wait) and continues through the meal into the end. I spoke to the manager, hoping that they would show care and consideration. They didn't.
I will not return and I will try to let all my friends know. If I want to be treated poorly, I have lots of options. I don't have to go here and spend my money on an expensive lunch.

i’m sad to say that inspirations has gone downhill over the last few years. my family has a tradition to come here every summer and every year we notice it has gotten worse. they have become very cheap in how the run the business but have raised prices (?). they no longer offer table service, which i feel takes the fun and fancy part out of it. instead you have to go up to the counter and crowd up the already crowded lobby. paper menus and plastic silverware:/ my little sisters and cousins have always loved having a tea pot and tea cups for their lemonade, but now you get a plastic cup and have to fill your drink up yourself. this afternoon my grandmother found a bug in her salad, and the lady helping us was very grumpy and it was obvious she did not want to be there. a lot of my families food was stale and incorrect. i am not one to give reviews, let alone bad ones, but i am just very sadden by how this place has gone downhill.

I was very underwhelmed by this place. First, it is beautiful and the store seems really cool. Im sure the tea is great. But the staff has no communication. We were told several different things of what we could or couldn't do, if we were going to have a server or use the counter, who could sit where. This is a bridal shower. Im starving. And we never even ended up eating, left because everything seemed out if control. I bet its good when it's slow. Make Reservations.

Always yummy with such a friendly staff. The Urban farm panini is my new favorite. My kids like the grilled cheese and the vegetable quiche. They love going for tea time. This time we enjoyed the blue sapphire which was tasty. Always a fun atmosphere with plenty of things to look at while waiting on lunch.

Absolutely love this place. Incredible diverse and good, flavorful teas. Great eclectic blend of flavors in their dishes. Great atmosphere and service. A couple can get 2 meals, teas and desserts including tip for just over $30. Even better is the bed and breakfast known as the Two Hearts Inn.

The minute you walk through their doors, you are in another world. Delightful aromas, beautiful decor, an array of teas, olive oils, gifts, clothing - what a wonderful oasis and respite from the cares of life. Oh, and the food! Melt-in-your-mouth scones served with their secret-recipe lemon curd, fresh salad, quiche, desserts, etc. Everything I've tasted is delicious and served with care by the very sweet and helpful wait staff. I love this place!
