Best strong coffee in Tulsa area!

For those who know me, coffee is kind of my thing! Midnight-oil Dark roast, roasted to be strong! LOVED IT!

Smoothies, frappes, lattes, all of it wow great!

Non-profit, hiring disabled employees!

Wonderful little coffee shop. The local doctor who owns the building donated the space to a Non-Profit organization for people with disabilities.
The coffee is fantastic. People are even better. You will not want to miss this place.

The best measure of a coffee shop is how it performs on a simple but also extremely difficult task - preparing a perfect shot of espresso. Here, the folks at Not Your Average Joe did everything right and produced a beautiful and bold espresso. Nice thick crema, not over-extracted, hot and deliciously complex. I’ve had way worse espressos at even the most sophisticated coffee shops with $30,000 espresso machines and single origin beans.

It was a treat finding this place in Broken Arrow of all places. Truly not your average joe.

Love this coffee shop! I was warmly greeted by Brady the barista who made me a fantastically delicious "It's A Wonderful Life" mocha... a beautiful dark chocolate peppermint delight! I had mine made with oat milk -- my favorite dairy-free option for coffee. Grateful they have so many alternative milk options. Pro-tip: Be sure to ask for no whip if you need no dairy (they will likely still include the whip if not specified). The customer service is exceptional & I feel so safe, happy, and welcome here. So excited to introduce all my friends to this place! 💞

Just stopped in and had the Broken Arrow Mocha.... it was DELICIOUS. Best coffee drink in the 918! And the jam is top-notch as well! Will definitely be visiting again!

Really cute and fun coffee shop! The staff is really friendly and I like the decor and atmosphere. Great place to go to support the community instead of a box store and the atmosphere is more fun and chill.

I can't say more good things about this place. Absolutely fantastic. I got the "who shall not be named" H.P reference, iced. Probably the best coffee I've ever had.

I stopped by to grab a pick-me-up in the middle of the afternoon, and the staff were wonderful! I chose "the most complicated drink on the menu" a pour-over and it is delicious! Even better, I was all smiles the whole time! I absolutely love the mission and the staff makes the already great coffee even better! New favorite coffee shop in BA!

They offer both regular and decaf espresso and a variety of milks to customize your drinks with, as well as non-coffee options so there's something for everyone! The service is super friendly, and today I learned that they are a non-profit. It hasn't been busy in the time I've been sitting here and I'm not sure why, it's a great place!
