Best place to eat in Alva. Steak nights are the best. The whole VB team does an amazing job on everything from the fresh baked goods to the service.

Every time we've been there, the service is great, the food is great and the price doesn't break your wallet. Parking is the only thing that could be better.

Nice place. Clean. Nice decor. The service was very good. Waitress knew the menu and was attentive. Our first time there and we look forward to going back! My KC Strip was excellent and my wife's cheeseburger was quite good! Cheesecake for desert was excellent !

Best place to eat in northwest Oklahoma hands down service and food are amazing. Don’t sleep on the Bean!

Brenda Spiers

The only negative is pricing. For 3 people for breakfast it was just shy of $60.00.

This was a great stop for coffee! The iced mocha is AMAZING, legit better than Starbucks!! Cute, country and chic. We will definitely come back if we are in town again :))

We were in the local Walmart about lunchtime and asked Lynn the cashier where was a good place in town to eat and Lynn told us how to find The Vanilla Bean. So off we went, Lynn's directions were spot on. Love the old truck, it made The Vanilla Bean easy to find.
The staff was friendly and the spinach wraps were very good, my wife had the turkey and I had the club. If we ever back in that part of Oklahoma we will definitely eat at The Vanilla Bean. Thanks Lynn for the tip.

Great pastries and coffee. Decent breakfast, with way more options and range than normal in Alva. Including crepes, avocado toast, Eggs Benedict, wide range of coffee options. Really cool atmosphere with stucco walls, arches, cute alcoves, shabby-chic exposed brick. Friendly service. The blueberry turnover pastry was delicious with a sugary bed to hold the jam. The latte I got was great. I've heard the eggs Benedict may be too lemony on the Hollandaise. My avocado toast was pretty good, but I would have preferred 1 or 2 small toasted pieces of bread to the big fluffy Texas toast slice it was served on. My companions found the crepe to be ok, and the breakfast platter with biscuits and gravy was a crowd pleaser.

Wonderful food and desserts. Very friendly,. Lunch was a bit slow getting to us, but they are relatively new, so give them time. Great price for what you get

Nick Baker

Great cafe. Homemade soup and bread. Delicious latte.
