I come to Underdog / Emporium probably 3 times a week. I think I am addicted to their breakfast. Although I come to work away from my office, there are lots of interesting people to talk to. Great coffee and friendly staff.

Best breakfast burritos around! Great coffee and an amazing beer selection. Owned and managed by wonderful people. Frequent this establishment!

Every time we're in Yellow Springs we go here for coffee or tea. Relax and chat. And usually leave with a new bottle of wine to try!

Super weird experience here trying to order a cup of coffee. My friend ordered an nearly $5 iced latte and they told her she could only have it in a small cup and there would be an additional charge for milk because they pay $12/gallon for it and that it was local. A latte is mostly milk, so if you're going to charge extra, perhaps that should just be included in whatever your posted price for the drink is. My friend agreed to this upcharge and the barista then proceeded to pull out generic grocery store milk to make the latte with. Not sure why they had to go out of their way promote how special and expensive their milk was and then blatantly use regular old milk. It turned me off so much that I decided not to even order anything :(

Good place to order wine by the case. That is about all. They really don't carry a vast selection of Moscato. They will order it for you, that is a plus. Don't go looking for someone knowledgeable about wine, that is hit and miss.

Good coffee and muffins. Place is dirty with no table service and disinterested staff. Interior is mostly suspect old couches and Yellow Springs loafers.

Went in to buy a good scotch, was marked as $45, proceed to checkout. After waiting in line for 5 minutes I was told that I could not pay for liqour with a card. Went to atm down the road to withdraw money, came back, repeat. Get to front of line cashier rings up scotch, says that'll be $105. So not only did they not have up to date payment methods, they also fail to mark prices correctly. If you want to gamble on weather the price is correct and hold around $50 of pocket change this is the place for you.

Cute but it overworks it's staff :/
They deserve more than minimum wage and the false "tips might make up for it".

The kitchen doesn't have space to two cooks despite needing so they overload one.

Great coffee, kind service. Love the wine! Nice place to sit and take a caffeine break after shopping along the street

This is a quirky little place. You feel like you've stepped back in time to the late 60s or 70s. Books, wine, beer, coffee, sandwiches and soup. My husband and I each had soup which was delicious.
