BREW coffee bar

This is a great coffee bar near UT. The coffee craft is clearly nurtured and appreciated here, and snacks from great local bakeries like All Crumbs are a definite plus. I would prefer they not use Zingerman's, though. They can say it's local, but it's not really when Toledo has several roasters, at least two of whom serve fresher coffee of the same or better quality. Zingerman's is great, but its coffee tends to be a bit overrated. I love the brewing options and tasting notes set up on a big board to see, one of the best coffee innovations in the city by far.

Honestly, one of if not the best local coffee shop around. Owner and staff are friendly, helpful, and always have recommendations based on your tastes if you're looking to switch it up from your usual.

Great atmosphere but prices are not on menu or displayed anywhere that I could find. I was surprised by the charge for a medium americano.

Update: I returned here after a few years. I ordered a coffee with steamed heavy cream. The barista told me she couldn't do it because it makes a loud sound. 🤨😐

Two bad experiences equals one star.

Delicious coffee and confections for the perfect pick me up on a challenging day.

Cold brew was on par with the best of the best. Customer service was very good. Tried my wife's breve mocha which was unbelievably delicious. Excited to come back when we're in town!

They use Zingermanns beans and most baristas are very good at the different applications. I do find some inconsistency but I go a lot and do realize each barista has a slightly different touch. The staff is always wonderful and they always have a nice selection of All Crumbs bakery items as well as 7 Little Cupcakes and more!

I use to love coming here until this employee tried to force me to buy something before she gave me the WiFi password. I live around the corner and I come here often. When I do come I use my personal hotspot connection but my phone was kinda slow today. Plus I just ate and wasn't ready for a cup of coffee. I'm going to be here for hours so I wasn't in a rush but had every intention of buying a cup of coffee. She was very adamant about not letting me get on the WiFi until another employee gave it to me and I didn't like the way she let me know. That whole encounter left a bad taste in my mouth. The other employees are a lot nicer and never have confronted another customer like that.

Other then the nasty bitter attitudes and bad vibes from these employees, Brew has great coffee. I'll just come in the daytime between clinicals if I have decent free time to avoid these evening girls.

Always excellent, polite and exuberant staff, pastries are mostly vegan and still delicious.

Great quality drinks and bakery items. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Has a nice variety, but not overwhelming. Store was clean and relaxed. First time customer, will definitely come back

Love this place so glad i found it. Very informative and patient staff. Suggested a tea i absolutely love now. Very cozy. Free wifi and parking
