Vita is great! Fresh delicious coffee and tea, tasty pastries and such and the atmosphere- OH MY! Gorgeous old bank building with soaring ceilings, huge windows and marble. Go and check it out!

2 stars because the building is cool, otherwise would be 1 star. We were there at 4 p.m. on a Friday. Only customers in the place. We waited 1 hour for a caeser wrap (made with deli chicken, so didn't need cooked), a Flatbread, a kid mac & cheese (which had way too much pepper in it), and a kid hot dog. No idea why it took so long. The food is also super overpriced for what you get. Definitely a place not to return to for food.

On a Bad weather Winter Day they were accommodating, to our group, food was wonderful, plentiful and warm.

The restoration of this building is beautiful, the service is mehhh. Our table of 4 were given our drink and appetizer order but the waitress never came back for our dinner order. When I finally got her attention, her response was that the kitchen had closed for the night. What a shame that dinners for 4 weren’t added to their receipts that night. Will I go back? Probably not.

Everything was fantastic! The building and atmosphere are lovely, but it was the staff that impressed me the most. They really went out of their way to make my experience great. I mentioned that I couldn’t have gluten and requested the crackers be left off of the cheeseboard I ordered. The bartender informed the kitchen staff, who then added extra fruit and other GF goodies to make sure I was taken care of. I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area.

Vegan options in downtown Sandusky. We stopped into Vita as our first stop in town, not expecting to find vegan options. Had the strawberry spinach salad w/o goat cheese & the vegan taco flatbread. It could have used some hot sauce, but I was still satisfied. Really amazing service. Also has grocery items. Came back a few days later to pickup toilet paper & beer. Nice to be able to walk to a place w/ market items when staying in downtown Sandusky.

We were traveling from Ohio to Michigan and stopped for a quick lunch. 1.5 hours, a very dry salmon burger, we were on our way. The building is a must see, the staff was professional, the food was just okay with a very long wait time.

Abby was efficient, down to earth and welcoming. Super cool atmosphere, charcuterie to die for, delicious salmon and strip sirloin. Enjoyed poking around the gift shop, grocery area, wines afterward. LOVE this place!

Very beautiful establishment and the ambiance is amazing. If it wasn't for the detailed layout of the place by the owner, it would have been a lot to take in. With a choice of coffees, beers and wines up to the upper shelf spirits, one can never go wrong with a select choice of food to pair. Just amazing....I can't wait to return.

Really nice little grocery/coffee shop/bar hybrid. Local fresh ingredients, great craft beer and wine selection. Bartender is very friendly, craft beer on tap and some fun cocktails too. The building itself is beautiful. Right next to the farmers market too!
