This is a sleeper cafe, meaning that from the outside it might not look like much but it's actually really wonderful. The staff are friendly, helpful, and skilled. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy. The menu itself rotates and so far I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Unless you ask for a drink extra sweet, the flavor is more subtle which lets the espresso shine thru. I have liked the almond cranberry scone, chocolate chip muffin, and pistachio biscotti, but the chocolate espresso flourless cake is next level delicious. (A friend said she loves the lemon blueberry post tart but I have yet to try it).
Cute place. Employees were all super kind, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. The breakfast focaccia was delicious, and I can't wait to try the sausage roll I got to go! Great place to sit and do a bit of work while enjoying a cup of coffee and a snack!
Wow, what a gem! It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is warm, inviting, and staffed with the most friendly people. And the food is absolutely amazing! Get the focaccia. Thank me later.
Fantastic! Been by a few times in the morning, and everything I had for breakfast was delicious. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the selection is great with a good variety of sweet and savory options with new things popping up all the time. Highly recommend, even if you detour from Fairlawn just to grab breakfast here. Interior is well appointed and clean, but sadly I'm normally taking my breakfast on the road. Coffee smells delicious, but I have yet to try it. Nice selection of other drinks and items as well. Glad to see these local bakers giving our community a great home-made option for a cute cafe!
This charming new cafe and bakery is such a pleasant addition to the area. I come to Ocelot at least once a week on lunch break and every time I'm thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walk in, the aroma of fresh-baked breads and pastries fill the air, and I know I'm in for a treat.
The menu is filled with options for everyone (including vegetarians like myself), ranging from savory soups and sandwiches to sweet treats. My regular coffee order is a hot mocha with oat milk, and it is one the best I've ever had!
The renovated atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. The staff and owners are friendly and attentive, and it's clear they took pride in their work and were passionate about their craft.
Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe/bakery to anyone looking for a satisfying lunch or snack. Whether you're in the mood for a quick pastry and coffee or a leisurely brunch with friends or coworkers, this place has something for everyone.
The food is great, the service is great! They have a small selection of food, but what is there is good. I have been there twice and have eaten the three things that they sell: a salad, Greek yogurt, and a BLT sandwich. The first time there, I got a salad with goat cheese, craisins, and candied walnuts. It was SO good! I bought the Greek yogurt parfait for my breakfast the next day. There's granola to put in it. They said the granola was freshly made. The yogurt was also very good! I could tell the granola was homemade. The BLT sandwich was nothing great. It tasted like a BLT sandwich.
They also have a good variety of desserts. I just had their chocolate chip cookie. Even though it was only one thing, it was very good!
Overall, I would recommend The Ocelot. The food is good and the employees are very nice.
This is a fantastic bakery and coffeeshop. The staff always greets and serves you in a timely fashion. There is plenty of seating and wifi to work or chat with a friend/colleague. The bakery items are made fresh daily from scratch and are exquisite. They have terrific breakfast pockets, espresso drinks, local coffee, scones, muffins, sandwiches, salads, granola...and more. Stop in - it's certainly worth your while.
Stopped in to check it out. We had the foccia bread & sticky bun. Both were fantastic. You could tell they were made with top quality ingredients & by skilled bakers. Can’t wait to go again!
They serve breakfast? Really? Don't bother. I walked in and the young lady behind the counter gave me a warm smile and "hello"...and that was the end of the service. No "I'll be with you in a moment to seat you" or anything similar. After a few minutes I seated myself and after five more minutes I left after being completely ignored.
An employee should've come over and said "May I help you with something?". After all, there were no other customers to wait on. If no one is available to seat guests, signs should be posted right inside the entrance. "Welcome! Please order at the counter."
