Espresso 22

Great atmosphere. Several comfortable chairs if you are looking to relax and plenty of table space if you are looking for a spot to set up shop. Cold and hot coffee options as well as several wraps and flat breads if you are looking for lunch. Lots of pastry options for the sweet tooth.

Fantastic as always! My favorite coffee shop in Powell!!

This coffee shop does not deserve the name espresso 22 if they do not know how to properly make espresso drinks. When ordering a latte I was served with “espresso cold brew” but anyone that has ever had experience with espresso knows that it cannot be prepared in advance. The shots burn and become bitter. There is no difference between a normal coffee bean and an espresso bean; the difference occurs in the preparation. The coffee was prepared poorly and tasted weak as the espresso became bitter and lost the decadent, rich espresso flavor as it sat in the “cold brew”. A disgrace to all espresso shops.

Such a humorous community of students. No lack of silliness.

The second time I ever went to this coffee shop I spent 5 minutes waiting in line with one other car while the employee stood in the drive thru and had a conversation with another person while looking at us waiting. Both cars ended up leaving without coffee. I went to Starbucks instead because at least their employees aren't rude.

Lavender vanilla latte with homemade whip is on point! I’m visiting from out of town and 4 days in a row the coffee has been consistently amazing and the staff have been incredibly sweet. A must stop Powell coffee stop.

Nicely decorated and friendly employees but I don't understand how a placed called "Espresso 22" does not actually make fresh espresso. They use an "espresso cold brew" from a jug in a fridge, which makes the espresso drinks taste pretty bad. Why not pull fresh espresso shots?

This has become one of my favorite places to frequent. Super friendly service. Quick and knowledgeable. Nate does a great job. Theres nice places to sit and sip on coffee or matcha. Many Powell residents enjoy starting there day here. And did you know they have a drive up window? Super convenient.

Great atmosphere in quaint Powell village. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable. The renovation is cozy and clean. The drink and lemon muffin were delicious. Convenient drive through and plenty of parking on site.
