1922 Coffee And Brew

Just stopped in for a sandwich and coffee. It's gorgeous inside. The owners are awesome and I had the most delicious Cafe mocha and al Capone sandwich. The bakery looked amazing but I was too full to try it this time.

Great local spot. Bloody mary bar, excellent selection of coffee as well. Live music on sunday morning. Breakfast sandwiches and bagels are awesome. Never disappoints. Service excellent and owners often on site.

I was king for a new place for me and my wife to eat at and came across 1922 on facebook. I saw some pics of their food, called and got a rundown of the menu.

We took the chance and went there, and were greeted with a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly and courteous staff.

The menu was small and since I eat Scripturally Kosher food, I couldn't eat anything that had swine flesh, but I did find the ciabatta steak sandwich appealing, so I ordered it. My wife who is not a Kosher eater had the pulled pork.

We ordered their chips and salsa as an appetizer, and the salsa tasted just about the same as chipoltle's salsa, only not as spicy. The chips were light and airy, and it was very pleasing.

Our sandwiches came out to us and I dug in immediately. The steak in my sandwich was tender and juicy and the chipoltle aioli started sweet and finished with a little bit of spice. The sandwich was perfection!

My wife said that her pulled pork was the best that she has ever had, and that their bbq sauce was better than my home made sauce, which means it is excellent. She said that the pork was tender and juicy, and lacked the blobs of fat that is normally in such sandwiches.

We bought two chocolate muffins to go, and I ate mine Sunday. It was tender and moist, and full of flavor. I highly recommend 1922 to anybody who wants a change from the norm.

Tried the steak sandwich on ciabotta bread served hot and accompined with horseradish chips. Excellent. Fast, super friendly staff. A hidden gem.

Great food, great coffee, great beer. What else do you really need. And the service and atmosphere were top notch as well. This isn't close to me but I will definitely return!
