Seems like they have gotten greedier. Used to be able to use coupons on new releases and now they wont or cant look up your membership for you if you dont remember old number. Cashier wasnt friendly at all today.

Staff was SO helpful. A young man named Grant helped me find what I was looking for, and suggested a few other things I might like.

Today was my first experience using a Verizon UP Barnes and Noble gift card. From the first attempt to apply it, it gave Miss Shanika Westerfield problems. She tried multiple times to get it to take. Next, she called the manager, Miss Sara Stout for help. She was very quick to respond, but, alas, to no avail. After multiple attempts by Miss Stout, the ladies tried reaching out to a senior member who, apparently, was detained. And so, Miss Westerfield and Miss Stout chose to do the right thing and honour the gift card. I wish to have it fully understood that the app was clearly showing all 3 of us that the $5 gift card was still there and valid for use. These 2 young ladies went above and beyond , working diligently and with smiles, to get the credit put on the purchase. They were pleasant and kind throughout the entire ordeal. And they did this before they knew that I am a member! They have helped build my faith in Barnes and Noble as a company - for hiring such truly good people, and in customer service - as these 2 ladies are indeed EXEMPLARY human beings in this role!

They deserve much more than just this note, but I sincerely trust that it will reach their bosses AND both Miss Shanika Westerfield and Miss Sara Stout as well!!!

The assistant store manager( Eileen-I hope I spelled it correctly) helped me immensely with a problem with my Nook. She took the time and was professional in dealing with the problem. Thanks for all of your help.

Barnes and Noble is a favorite place for us to go to either for a coffee in the cafe or to peruse books and other items they sell, and sometimes both in one trip. The staff is always so kind and helpful, and always willing to give helpful hints when looking for a new genre of book to read.

Always take care of me when I walk and making sure if I need anything. Of course they have a huge selection or books and resting areas to read and feel at home.

I just love Barnes and Noble. The staff are typically super friendly, offers a clean environment, and the smell of Starbucks mixed with books cannot be topped.

Disappointed with the magazine section now. Can't find any hobby machinist magazines there anymore. Also they took out all of their chairs where you could sit down and read. Major bummer. I'll go to Amazon from now on to find what I want.

Good service from the staff. The smell of fresh coffee is a definite plus. Needs some roof repairs, so that was a little off putting.

great place for a book store, i have bought a few books from there. ordered some online at home and in store if i did not find what i was looking for. some bigots from what i herd through the grape vine complained about some books written by the church of satan and they downsized a bit in that section, but i say that is pathetic. That is like walking into a coffee shop and demanding everybody drinks tea. i remember waldens books in the mall and we went to half price books in north olmstead (the nearest one). all literature is welcome - x rated stuff. I did find the art of war for 12$ one year. One book that was on my list. perhaps that is what the world needs is to read more books (not the propaganda ones) and watch less t.v? all in all great book store.
