Ok, I don't want to be too harsh but the coffee was really not fantastic. There was a lot of syrup on the bottom and when I tried to stir it in, it just got really messy and wouldn't blend with the coffee well. Also, the taste of the coffee wasn't great, especially with how expensive they are. But, I love their teas and lemonade so please check them out! It's a super cute lil shop with the best atmosphere and very very sweet people! Only complaint is the coffee itself unfortunately.:/

Great food and easily the best coffee/brunch offered on MBI. Provided at a snail's pace though, and operational efficiencies are desperately needed.

1. When an order is placed, why doesn't the patron complete their payment at that time? The current service structure requires both employees and patrons to return to the busy checkout line, interrupt ongoing orders, and unnecessarily slow down the flow of business. A never-ending cluster of 4 employees crawling over one another just to operate.

2. Provide a menu. And when asked, don't just say it's online. Where online? Patron after patron has no idea what's offered at the Grind, and your ability to generate income is significantly hampered while simultaneously frustrating new patrons.

3. The chalkboard located behind the service area contains gibberish text referring to healthy flavor blends without any context, drink type, price, or any data of actual benefit. The wasted space could be used to provide useful information or links to menu items, daily specials, etc.

The Island Grind could easily grow their operational capacity, greatly increase revenue flows, and significantly improve customer satisfaction by implementing minor changes that wouldn't require increased capital investments.

Great spot! Staff was very nice, helpful. Drinks were good. Will definitely return in our next trip to the island!

Great coffee, some little snacks, and it has a liquor license if you want Irish Coffee or something.

The newest restaurant on Middle Bass is located right behind the Lonz Winery. Modern, clean and service is prompt and friendly. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and they have Bloody Marys if desired. Coffee is good. They are close to the marina so they do carry out or dine in. There is an outdoor seating area. Their menu has a good variety.
Now they have opened a Speakeasy in the back. Decorated in 1920s style, they have a full bar, crystal chandelier, and are open in the evenings.

Cool little shop on the pavilion of the old Lonz Winery. Fun place to stretch your leg or ride your bike to in the morning. They have baked goods & all your coffee needs with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly Owner & Staff! See you soon!!

Really good coffee shop. Nice, clean, and friendly workers. Would highly recommend. It's the only coffee place on the island so it's not like you have a choice.
