Great atmosphere, bad attitude, why are they in the same room?

Was really excited to try a new coffee shop that wasn't a starbucks. My friend and I walked in to a beautiful dining area and great atmosphere, great music was playing and even a fire place going, LOVE. But everything went south when we approached the coffee bar.

My friend and I have never been here and we told the barista that, which is whoever that worked 01/30 1-230pm. We were recommended a few drinks and the tone of voice that the barista had with us was less than pleasant.

Then when she made our drinks there was something sticking to the inside of the milk carton (which was plastic) and the milk tasted funny in the drink. The flavoring was almost nonexistent and it tastes like a plain cappuccino and if I wanted that, which we did not order, I could've just gone to starbucks. The barista used "it's the end of my shift" excuse to explain her lack of a better attitude and for my friend's drink mistake and constantly spilling.

Both of us being certified baristas, we enjoy trying new coffee shops. This was also our second one of the day and what a disappointment. We love coffee, we love new coffee and modern environments to enjoy coffee. But we do not enjoy bad attitudes and do not enjoy that bad attitude being incorporated into a delicious (in this case not) combination of milk and espresso and flavor.

Highly recommend this place if you enjoy sour tones in behavior and less than par coffee tastings.

If you're in Mason and want coffee, go here. Thinking it was open for business, I walked into Adesso a day or two before it was actually open to the public. The owner still made me a delicious drink (on the house!!) and we ended up chatting for 15 min. Great guy, great coffee. Support local coffee shops!

Atmosphere is great, cozy little place with a modern feel. Gave me "hipster writing novel" vibes. Those are good. Coffee is great, staff is great. You're missing out if you don't go here

The coffee is delicious! So much better than the "big chain." Chuck took a moment to get to know us and took care when making our drinks. I am so excited to have a coffee shop right here in Mason and will continue to support local small businesses like this one! Can't wait to go back!

This place is as charming on the inside as it is on the outside. The staff was really friendly, and the coffee and food were really good. It’s so nice to have place like this in downtown Mason. I’ll definitely be going back!

Just finished a piece of Quiche the wife brought home to me and I'm happily sipping on some chemex brewed coffee with Honey and Cinnamon. absolutely delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough. They are open for carry out right now and their website is prime for taking online orders.

Good music, great cocktail menu, friendly staff and relaxed vibe. One of our new local favorites. I'm not a coffee drinker (the horror, right?), but my husband said it was great also.

Some of the best coffee in the Mason area! This coffee shop knows their stuff, uses fresh beans, sources coffee responsibly, and also has a great atmosphere as well - this is a new favorite spot, for sure!

Tried their Honey Cinnamon Latte and Lavender latte. Incredible and so much natural flavor! Wonderful service and beautiful location- this will definitely be my new coffee place!

Love it here - great coffee, great baristas, lots of seating - the outdoor options abound.
