Small town hospitality is outstanding! Owned by the most generous couple. Who give back to the community and feed the homeless. Drinks are delicious! They have just about anything you are looking for! Gourmet coffee, smoothies, etc...lots of clean, gluten free/healthy options♡ Cozy atmosphere and unique decor:) You will feel like family when you visit this adorable coffee shop! Great place to visit with friends, or just bring your laptop to focus on homework etc.

We stopped in while desperate for coffee on a road trip. The coffee was great. We also picked up a couple cherry tarts and two cookies. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was great. We made a point to save the location for our next trip! Thank you!

This is definitely the best coffee shop around. Friendly owners that go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The coffee is amazing as well as the snacks. They are also very community oriented and are taking in donations for the less fortunate. Not sure if it is monetarily or only supplies and volunteers.

If you had to define “charming” it would be this amazing place. Really nice scones and good drinks too, and an extremely fun couple that make you feel beyond loved!

Lori and Greg are the best! Their food is great. They welcome everyone and make you feel special. The best part is that they care about our community and are always helping others. They work tirelessly helping those in need, feeding the homeless and gathering clothes to those in need and having a food pantry. Thank you Lori and Greg!

Super easy walk from the electric vehicle charging and the perfect way to spend time. We grabbed two cold brews. The first was a oat milk with a splash of coconut syrup and the second was 2% and macadamia nut syrup. Both were really smooth and well blended.

Stopped to charge my car and people had mentioned this place on plugshare. Such a cute local coffee, smoothie, ice cream shop. Will definitely stop again. Sweet people and great products!

If you’re in town, go to Poppy’s for your smoothie needs or coffee needs of course. They can make basically anything you want and most likely, if she doesn’t have something, she’ll try to put in a special order for a special ingredient just for you. They actually do care if you enjoy what they make, so don’t be surprised if Lori asks you to taste something in front of her bc she honestly wants to know if you like it. The smoothie I last tried has all kinds of goodies-Java chips, protein powder packed with all kinds of healthy things, probiotics, and collagen. Lori and Greg are packed with knowledge in herbs/natural ingredients too. They also have other interesting and health-minded things there that you can’t really get anywhere else around these parts. Beyond the drinks or the food there, those owners LOVE their community. They donate their time for so many things-included providing food and clothing for anyone who wants/needs it. They are locally owned and operated and their love, dedication, taxes, and money goes mostly directly toward our community. They do a lot of work with their church and they don’t hide the fact they are Christians but they also are not dogmatic, are very welcoming, excepting, and respectful of other faiths/non-faiths. I only say this bc I was a little weary of it being a “Christian coffee shop” and thought it might be weird. They aren’t paying me to post this or anything. I’ve just been in there several times and seen so many countless acts of love and I just want to make sure people keep supporting them.

I was driving through from West Virginia towards Cincinnati on the Sunday afternoon of Labor Day Weekend, and I stopped in Gallipolis to get a charge on my electric car. I was looking for a place to eat but everything nearby was closed. Walking past Poppy's, the owner was outside and we chatted a few minutes. I asked where I could eat and she invited me in to get me fed even though she was closed! Had a great chat with her and her grandson, and they enjoyed seeing my EV. Thanks so much for the hospitality and warmth and I will definitely stop by to see you guys the next time I'm through Gallipolis!!
