Nervous Dog Coffee Bar, Montrose

Cool little coffee shop that has tasty espresso drinks and breakfast sandwiches. It’s a great place to get some work done at their tall counters with a good amount of outlets for your devices. The service was nice and the decor is funky as all of the nervous dog locations. It’s a good option to get your coffee fix!

As a coffee aficionado, I was very disappointed. The milk was over-steamed, poorly aeriated and overall sloppily done. Then, they simply took a spoon and dumped the steamed milk on top of my beverage! Poor microfoam texture; not what I was expecting from a place specializing in coffee.

Service speed needs improvements as well. Right now, their closest competition is instant coffee.

Final note, ceramic mugs should be used, as they not only improve the experience as a coffee drinker, but save tons of waste from carboard cups and plastic lids.

Great little coffee shoppe. Excellent coffee and good breakfast sandwich. They are tough to get in and out of off Market but the coffee is worth it. Seating is very limited and better suited to being alone.

I always turned my nose up to "iced coffees" until I tried their Honey Cardamom Chihuahua & now I am an addict!! Definitely recommend giving them a shot, or letting them give you a shot, or three, of espresso 😉

Great Barristers and environment. My less star is for the drinks. Chai has crazy amounts of sugar. It was cutting through my throat. I went back and ordered a latte. 3 shots of espresso which was straight up bitter. I retuned it and they were kind enough to make me one with less espresso which is what you get out there anyway. I just feel like the drinks can be improved. Pleasant experience overall

Has lots of potential, pastries are good, BUT serving the drinks on paper cups doesn’t cut it for a café house,…

Always a great experience here. Baristas are super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. Sometimes the line is long, but only because they’re so good!
The seasonal Real Pumpkin Chai is my absolute favorite and I wish it was available year-round. The cold brew is consistently great. My bf loves to drink it black. We also love to get the breakfast sandwiches.
You can’t go wrong with anything here! We seem to get multiple drinks every visit!

What a great little Coffee Shop! Nervous Dog Coffee Bar in Montrose is one we would come back to. Staff was super nice. We got two coffees: a Pumpkin Spice one and a Dark Chocolate with Banana Frappe they were both very good. Also got a Pumpkin Square pastry and a Sausages Egg and Cheese Bagel that was good also!

The coffee was great. didn't like the gentleman behind the counter in the multi tie dye shirt unbuttoned with his chest hanging out. looks very unprofessional even in a coffee shop.

Great coffee shop in Montrose! They don’t offer indoor seating at the moment due to Covid, but their coffee is great and the staff is so kind! Highly recommend a new coffee stop if you need something new
