POC are advised to avoid. I have been there 3 times, with months between each visit and every time I have been there I have been treated unbelievably disrespectfully. I know it is Delaware, and even my cousin in law told me to be “careful” in the area, which I know to be careful anywhere. But the workers treat POC like vagrants, if they even acknowledge you at all. Every time I’ve had a working stand in front of me for over 5 minutes to take my order, even when I’ve tried to get their attention. I’ve literally never even been greeted there! It’s like they do everything possible to get you to walk away. Last time my hot coffee was lukewarm and service was rude, while my white husband was greeted and made a pipping hot coffee, by the same person. Last week I stood in line for 10 minutes, with 4 other people behind me, and a worker literally right in front of me while I stood at the counter. And then a woman walked right in in front of me and was served immediately! And this was after the worker was just rude to someone standing in line! This is not people having a bad day or lack of staff, this is just straight up DISCRIMINATION! No coffee should ever be good enough to treat people so inhumanely!

Coffeeology is one of the most adorable coffee shops I have ever been to! So cozy and has a beautiful vibe. Customer service is exceptional 🖤

The staff were super friendly and helpful when I ordered. I loved my coffee flight! Seriously the best coffee I've had in forever....though I do like my lattes on the sweeter side. They also had a wide selection of hot and iced (not necessarily sweet) coffees as well.

I go to Delaware for my army reserves obligation. One day I happened to stumble across this magnificent little place and it is by far my favorite thing about Delaware the atmosphere is so warming and the coffee is to die for! the staff is absolutely amazing! Often times they give us our coffee on the house when I don't force them to let me pay for it. All In all it is a must visit

Coffee was real good. Had the Americana. Maybe they could have a few more choices of bakery. But a great place to meet up with others enjoy coffee and conversation.

A great coffee and tea house. It's loaded with furniture, antiques, knick knacks, and collectables that are all for sale (you are using the furniture as you enjoy your coffee). The various cookies and pastries are very tasty, as were the various beverages. Has seating for maybe 25 people, and free WiFi.

Chai was excellent. Service was inattentive as I stood at the counter several minutes before anyone offered to take my order. And this after they took the order of the person in front of me and served him quickly.

used to be my go-to in delaware, but lately some staff I encounter at the register act like your presence is the biggest inconvenience in the world. it’s a cool spot but imo not worth the ordering experience

Very cute shop. Has a rustic/nostalgic feel. Pastries are really good but the coffee is just standard at best. They have some funky flavors of cold brew and although they sound good they are not very tasty. Only have tried a couple drinks from here but those were not very good. Too much strawberry puree and other flavors that take away from the coffee itself. I might try this place again in the future and order something else but as of right now 3 stars is the max I can give for the drinks. The drinks were not horrible but they were not very good either.
