Love their coffee (they roast their own). Their staff is unbelievably nice. Great pastries and great vibe. It makes me wish I had a job where I could sit here all day, drink coffee, talk to the employees and eat pastries. Oh, and also work...

Your typical city coffee house with exceptional staff. The coffee is really good, but the staff really sets this place apart. They go above and beyond helping you find the best coffee for the type of brew you want at home.

Mission is probably my favorite coffee shop in the Short North. Their coffee is grand. The baristas are incredibly helpful. They make their own syrup for their mochas, which is impressive, delicious, and local. The atmosphere is just busy enough to make it the perfect place to get some work done.

I really enjoyed this cafe but I just paid $20 for a bag of beans ground to the wrong size. I asked for pour over size but when I got home it was clearly way too fine. I don’t live anywhere near Columbus so I can’t just drive back and ask for help. This irks me because I could tell the barista wasn’t really paying attention and didnt seem interested in helping me. Disappointed.

Overall, a very good coffee shop in the Short North. I ordered a Colombian pourover which was quite good. The prices are just a bit higher than other shops in the area, and I'm not sure why the extra expense is justified.

The pour overs are great and the vibe is laid back. Even in the summer with the students away, it's a popular spot. Several lists rank Mission as the #1 third wave coffee shop in Short North, and I'm inclined to agree.
I had a pour over of their house Rwanda and was really happy with it.

Mission is one of my favorite coffee shops in Columbus. They are one of the few good craft coffee shops in Columbus that offers various sizes for drinks rather than the single-size approach of many shops in the area. The coffee is always amazing. The baristas are definitely well trained, however the baristas are not extremely friendly. They are nice, but I have never actually held a conversation with a barista here. Additionally, the place is usually pretty crowded, so it's not the best spot to bring a group to.

Slightly off the beaten track and totally worth it! I found myself in the cute surrounding neighborhood and needed a place to work for about an hour. This coffee shop is a bit hidden - off a side street with a garage door on the exterior but it’s not to be missed!
The barista was super friendly and made me a fantastic chai tea. The weather was slightly chilly that day and he was playing gypsy music that seemed to perfectly match the weather.
The vibe was a bit hipster but nothing too crazy. Cozy inside. Felt like I could have been in Portland, Oregon.
Plenty of seating - I found a spot at a communal table and busted out an hour of work. Good internet connection as well.
If I’m back in the area, I’d love to come back!

The wait can feel excessive at times, but it is always worth it. My favorite spot for a cortado. The vibe is always relaxed as there are places for studying or hanging out on the sofa with a few friends. Of the many coffee options in the short north, this is the place to be.

I got a pourover and it was really good. However, the atmosphere did not seem cozy at all to me. It was my first time ever here and I asked to sample the cold brew and was met with some annoyance. The barista who made my drink was really friendly, but I can't say the same for the one who was at the register.
