The 86 Coffee Bar

This is an amazing University area indie coffeehouse, it really is. But.. the hours really stink. Especially for being in an University area.
But great staff, good coffee, and definitely a place you can camp out and read, work, or socialize in..

Literally one of my favorite places in the world. I go to UC and I’m here almost every day. They are able to provide a nice little space outside of the chaos of campus, and the workers are also extremely nice. Also I’m a coffee fanatic but their coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I recommend their lavender latte or a drip coffee.

Haven’t been to an 86 since they only had one store and it was prom 7yrs ago lol same vibe, good smells, friendly people, and good drinks.

One of my favorites in the city! The staff is always very friendly, and the drinks delicious. They have the best iced latte, and I love the way their espresso tastes compared to others. Great atmosphere with a mix between warm and rustic, and more industrial and open. They showcase great art from around the city, and I’ve even bought a piece that I saw there. A nice place to study and work, or just grab a coffee and go. Would absolutely recommend!

A very nice casual place for coffee. It's a good spot to chill by yourself or friends. I got a Mocha and it was really good. Service is fine.

Pretty standard as far as coffee shops go. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Drip coffee is good and will do in a pinch if you didn't have time to fill up your thermos and want to avoid the work pot full of Folgers. The Cubano is great if you want an intense, sweetened shot of espresso to wake you up.

If dairy with syrups and a bit of coffee flavoring is your thing, they have what you need. They are delicious, however, they are a bit sweet, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Staff seems are welcoming, patient, and friendly. Please, make sure you tip them.

I am new to the coffee world. My young son and I started coming here on our way to Bearcats games and Stephanie has made us welcome to campus and educated us on coffee and how to order and has been the #1 beat ambassador! Smart, friendly, and enthusiastic about her job,her school, and he customer's having a positive experience. This place is the best!

One of my favorite Cafés in Cincinnati. Although the space is a little small, there is seating on 2 floors and also some outdoor seating as well. The coffee is roasted in house and some of the best I've tasted. I am a big fan of the cold brew and the banana bread!

Dropped in here after a long time and loved it! The vibe is great and they have plenty of seating areas. I was served by Brennan, who's one of the nicest Baristas I've met!

I can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. If you’re on UC’s campus or nearby, this place serves the best coffee around and is a phenomenal place to study. My favorite drink is the white mocha with cinnamon syrup : )
