The baristas are great consistently friendly and they pull great shots off espresso. You can tell they care about their craft. Excellent foam quality and art. I love that they serve seltzer on the side with the espresso.

Amazing, It was our first time here so we chatted with the absolutely awesome baristas! They gave great recommendations and went out of their way to make sure we got tasty drinks :) Unfortunately we didn’t catch the their names but we just left around 1pm on 3/6. Would recommend!

Deeper Roots is a lovely coffee shop! The honey bear latte is my drink of choice but they have standard cafe selection with a few specials and some pastries. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is well designed, with many 2 tops for work breakouts and then sofas and more of a lounge feel in the back half of the space. The surrounding historic district is full of adorable shops and centrally located for excellent access to CBD and OTR, right off I75. It’s around the corner from Duke Energy Center. So this will be a great location to plan meetings because of accessibility. They’re offering carryout now and as the world bounces back from covid I can see that this will be a nice destination for coffee drinkers and meeting gatherers!

Super cute shop! I got a Reishi Elderberry Seltzer since I was coffee'd out for the day and this was a super refreshing drink! Not too sweet, and but it was great for a hot, sunny day!
My husband enjoyed his espresso and also got help picking a pour over option. He mentioned that none of the beans that were current available were drawing his attention and the barista pulled something out from behind the bar with lime, strawberry, and chocolate notes - and that was fabulous!
The staff was also super friendly and personable, and so happy to share good food spots since we're mentioned that we were visiting from out of town. They all seem like excitable foodies and loved their enthusiasm and vibes.

Come here all the time. Great selection of single origin and staff is always friendly. Just had their lemon drop latte and it was amazing. Complex and creative. Would recommend to anyone. Will be back again next week

I have nothing but good things to say about this location, its coffee, and its staff. Was a regular at the 4th Street location for years, and still try to make it down there from time to time. Keaton, Joseph, and all the other staff make you feel welcome and brew the best coffee you can find in Cincinnati.

Excellent coffee and service. I spent the afternoon sipping coffee and working. It was a beautiful atmosphere that made my work more enjoyable.

Great coffee, and great people. My favorite DRC location, mostly due to Joseph and Keaton, making consistently good drinks with some good conversation to go with it.
Macchiato and a pourover for me each time, and their dirty chai is also delicious.

Starbucks is my usual go-to for coffee, so I had high hopes for Deeper Roots. Walking in, you are greeted with the delicious smell of coffee and baked croissants. The restaurant was very neat and had a simple and clean, but also modern touch (which I love). So aesthetic-wise, they nailed it! I ordered their honey bear latte. I’m not sure if it was a seasonal menu item or not, but it was incredible! I am quite picky with my coffee, and sipping this coffee gave my taste buds a whole party! It was not too sweet, nor bitter, and had gorgeous foam art on top. I also ordered a ham and cheese croissant. I wanted something simple for breakfast, and let me just say this is the best croissant I have ever bit into. It was buttery, with crispy flaky layers of delicious pastry goodness topped with poppy seeds. There was even some of that seedy mustard in the sandwich; just enough so that you could get that tasty mustard flavor, but not too much that it overpowers the rest of the ingredients (and I’m not even a mustard person!). The entire croissant was just a perfect balance of all of the right taste elements. I’m pretty sure the cheese was swiss, but either way it was very yummy paired with the ham. If I lived closer, this would be my new favorite coffee shop! The atmosphere is amazing, taste is impeccable, and prices were very reasonable as well, plus the staff were very kind and helpful! So if you took the time to read this review; or even scrolled down this far, I would definitely recommend Deep Roots coffee! I hope you all find this place as magical as I did!

Serenity, calm and lose your self in time in this cafe. Speciality coffee from different origins. Enjoyed my afternoon throughly.
