Hazelnut Coffee Company

Lovely cafe, nice atmosphere... my first experience made me want to make this a regular stop, as I visit my family in Celina weekly. It’s a long drive home and I need to make the most of my time, so I generally look for a nice place with WiFi to have lunch or coffee, where I can accomplish pressing work items. It’s wonderful to find a place like Hazelnut Coffee Company where I can relax and enjoy my time while I do so.
Let’s face it, Cafes and WiFi have long been synonymous! Unfortunately, during my second visit the internet connection was lost and no solution was found while I was there. Things happen... and they are beyond our control 😊💕
A week later I stopped in again. After I bought a latte and pastry, and set myself up for a little work, I discovered they still had no WiFi 😏 My mistake... apparently I should have inquired first, then taken my $ down the street.
An hour wasted, with no concern by staff or management... I realized that this was why they still had no internet! Clearly it wasn’t a priority.
Also, you can’t pass half and half off as heavy cream, so if you’re out just say so! (Or educate staff in the difference?)
Still hope they can work things out...I think it’s the best cafe in town. I’ll try again when they get it together... I hope I will be able to update my review toward the positive.

I had originally rated this place higher, but upon returning several times afterwards, I have decided to edit my review. I recently visited and I ordered the sappy maple frappe, one of the seasonal fall drinks. The description of the drink says that it has espresso in it. When the drink was made, it was made with cold brew, not espresso. When I asked the girl who took my order about it, I was told that they make it with cold brew, not espresso...well then, don't write espresso on the drink description. It tasted like a big cup of sugared milk, not much taste at all.

On another visit I ordered a different drink called Indian Summer, it too was made incorrectly and did not include the items listed on the drink card, no whipped cream or caramel on top (like the one I had had previously). Why the inconsistency?

The first time I visited this place, I enjoyed it...but the three times since, no. I will not be going back...."three strikes, and you're out."

I recommend visiting the people are great, lattes delicious.

The view of the Military Memorial is heartfelt, seating available outside with a view of the Fallen Soldier Statue, Honored Veterans & Flags are stunning next to water.

Great place to hang out and relax.
The coffee is absolutley amazing! They also sell a variety of healthy (yet delicious) snacks, as well as a variety of pastries.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, quick service, and a laid-back environment.
Highly recommend!

My first experience wasn't great but I have returned to Hazelnut twice since then. They have totally redeemed themselves. And now I can say I highly recommend this coffee company. Well done!

A small town coffee shop with a high quality, diverse menu! You'll need to make more than one trip to experience all that Hazelnut Coffee Co. has to offer. Seasonal menu? ✅ Classic drinks? ✅ Homemade baked goods? ✅ Drive thru? You better believe it.

Hazelnut is a staple of this town and is owned and staffed by people who care.

Very nice atmosphere, design of the building is peaceful and refreshing. The staff is kind and the drinks are delicious. They have very yummy looking snacks to eat with your beverage of choice. Overall a pleasant experience.

This was not intended as a negative review. I am a big fan of the pastries and the staff has always been friendly.My experiences here were never unpleasant the only thing that keeps this from being a 4 star in my opinion is the consistency of the drinks. I've gotten a total of 4 brown sugar cortadas, the first was delicious, the second was okay but missing something. Unfortunately the third was undrinkable. It was very bitter and I did not have time to turn around and exchange it due to having to get to work. I decided to give it another chance about a week later and the 4th was better than the third but still had a very different taste.

Independent coffee shop, with very nice home roasted coffee. Excellent flavour. Really complex. Limited range of snacks and cakes, so don't expect a meal, but a welcome break !

This quaint coffee shop was the best addition to Celina! Amazing coffee and the atmosphere is great. And I'd you get a sweet tooth while.you are there, the owner makes some amazing muffins and scones!
