I came here all the time when I went to Cedarville. It's such a nice little coffee shop with a great view of the creek below (which is why it used to be called Stoney Creek). It's a great place to sit back and catch up with friends, with great coffee and limited lunch menu (all delicious).

If you're in the area, check it out!

Excellent coffee. They make their drinks pretty quick so you don’t have to wait very long. Plenty of tables to sit, read, and do homework, as well as outdoor seating by a creek.

Great coffee and selection. There is also a great area that you can sit down by the river while you enjoy your coffee. It is one of the only places around that has cold brew on tap with nitro.

I don't drink coffee, but Telemetry does great chai, and don't even get me started on their blueberry-pomegranate smoothie. Delicious! Plus, the atmosphere is great for writing.

Quaint little place. I was a bit disappointed in that Stoney Creek ended up being a starbucks-like coffee shop instead of true third wave coffee (i.e. like Press or Ghostlight in downtown Dayton) considering how the place looks, but can't really fault it for that - they are two different styles of coffee shops focusing on two different things.

Mostly I was disappointed with their in-house roasted beans they had for sale. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but the beans I bought smelled of ash and were unevenly roasted. Nobody there knew what the roast dates were for any of the bags, which isn't good to hear from an in-house roaster considering coffee begins to go stale after about 3 weeks from the roast date (and after 15 minutes from grinding).

That said I loved the atmosphere and the balcony looking over the creek. I wish my local coffee shops had something like that! Their food looked pretty good too, but I didn't have any of it myself.

1st visit: about 10 people in front of us in line. We waited 45 minutes for our coffee.
2nd visit: only 3 orders in front of us in line. We waited 30 minutes for our coffee. The workers forgot to make one of the drinks so we had to tell them to make it.
Bottom line: It shouldn't take a half hour to serve coffee.

Oh yes! You must visit. Unbeatable bagel creations - my fav is sundried tomato with goat cheese, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Yum! Everyone in the shop is wonderful: friendly, skilled, and accomodating. When near Cedarville, Ohio, stop in for freshly roasted, ingeniously crafted coffee blends ( and 24 teas!!).

I have yet to find a coffee house with better service (they custom ground some coffee I was looking to buy so I could try it).
I can't beat the freshness either; you ask Starbucks baristas when their coffee was roasted and they'll have no clue. Ask SCR and they'll respond with "this morning."

We had a little time and decided to get coffee in town. My wife's white chocolate raspberry coffee was on the sweet side but my Americano was a good brew

Friendly service. The frappe was refreshing.
