I searched for the nearest breakfast shop during my road trip and found this place. Our server Autumn was super out going with an amazing personality. I will definitely recommend eating here. The food was most importantly delicious. Thank you Autumn!

The epitome of a classy small town cafe. The food was fantastic! Clean restaurant! Friendly staff! Excellent atmosphere and decor! But.....they fell a little towards the end. First, they need to ensure all of their staff know how to make coffee. Though the girl who made it was sweet, it was awful! She even thought coffee goes into a chai tea latte......Also, we had some super overpriced cinnamon roll thing that we literally just threw away after fighting with the guilt of how much we paid. Overall, was great!

The best turkey dinner EVER. Apple cinnamon donuts are sinful. Custard pie that you don't find just any where. Chef made a table side visit which was appreciated. He is a food artist. A must stop for lunch and they serve breakfast all day. Free glazed donut with coffee purchase!

A must stop when you are in Berlin. The breads, donuts, and coffee are always fresh and never disappoints. The small Cafe attached is also very good.

Hubby and I visited here today during our first trip to Amish Country. We shared some donuts, hubby had a hot chocolate and I had an iced latte. The bakery staff seemed a little confused on hot to make the drinks, which turned out to be nothing to write home about. The hot chocolate was mostly milk, very little chocolate, and the latte was half foam and made with sugar free vanilla syrup, which I did not ask for. I tried salvaging the latte, but it was unfortunately undrinkable. The bakery was small with a good bit of customers, so I didn't bother taking it back. On a better note, we shared a large glazed and a lemon-blueberry donut, they were delicious.

Exceptionaly slow service. It took over an hour from the time we got there to our orders being taken. I had the super German fries and my wife had a London fog tea. The tea came after we finished the meal. The meal was ho hum at best. No flavor to any of its components except the peppers. I had black coffee that was ok but not great. The London fog was good when it finally arrived.

Although local, this was my first time visiting the Def Bake ovens lovely little restaurant! The food was amazing, and the portions were good too! We needed to wait a long time on our food but the food made the wait worthwhile this morning;)
Will definitely be returning and referring more friends to this place!

This place is excellent. Stopped in for lunch. Had the pulled pork sandwich with wedges. Highly recommend both. Also, bought bread and donuts. Everything was great, including the service.

This is exactly the experience that you were looking for in Berlin. This isn’t the average flavored Amish chicken and mashed potatoes. This is high quality fresh food in a very attractive restaurant.

Pricing is roughly $9/10 per plate with great baked goods and ice cream if you still have room.
