Excellent coffee (Douwe Egbert's). Wanted breakfast, but they stopped serving it at 11am. No biggie. Settled for lunch. They had their TV with the daily special. After going over it, me and my girlfriend decided to both get the Gouda Mushroom Cheesesteak. It had a good bit of cheese, plenty of mushrooms, some sauteed onions, and on a soft hoagie bun. I opted for onion rings which had a crispy breading and nice flavor profile with noticeable black peppercorn embedded into the exterior. The fries were awesome, almost lightly battered and hot, very crispy. My meal was served with a zesty mayo based sauce that had a Mexican flare of cumin and chilli spices, reminiscent of your favorite Taco meat seasoning. The special also came with a dessert, of which we settled on 4 cookies. 2 chocolate covered pretzel cookies, oatmeal raisin, and the house cookie. This was my first time, and I'll be heading back for breakfast in the near future.

My wife and I (in our late 20s) would occasionally come here and really enjoy the food. It's been a while so I don't know if there is new management or what decisions have been made toward the menu but this time around the food was not that great. The house chips had a variety of flavors including burnt, odd tasting, and some pleasant. The apricot chicken salad sandwich had a very bland taste that was generally unpleasant and my wife's oatmeal raisin cookie had a surprise inside (pictured) when she pulled it out of the bag. The best part was the broccoli salad which was good. I don't know if we'll come back after this go around but I hope they read this and fix the recipes and the items so this doesn't happen again. The Cherry House used to be a really great place to go.

Love this place! It's a great local diner with options for everyone. They have an excellent lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast is solid. Atmosphere is what you might expect from a diner-type restaurant. Seating is a bit tight, but not altogether unpleasant.

The food was good, the service was great. The place could use a little updating though. Other than that its a great place.

Some of the best pie we've had - EVER! General menu was good too, and the service was great.

The dinner was okay . the pie and cookie were great. The service was super slow and never really got refills had to keep asking. Price was a little high.

I really enjoy their Reuben sandwiches! I took my granddaughter there on her 2nd birthday and she really enjoyed it - especially the chocolate chip cookies!

Homey little place. You wouldn't expect it to be as busy as it gets, but it does. This joint is popular. It's got a lot of homey food. They have a lot of good combos of food that'll hit the spot. I got a dinner special with fried fish and a salad. My friends got burgers with fries and a cookie. They have art on the walls you can buy. They have reserved seating, too. Love this cute little sign I added the picture too. Makes me laugh. Good atmosphere.

Another "Restaurant " /Store serving GFS frozen food and calling it a Cafe. SMH and I can't believe people love it. I'm in the wrong business because I can definitely cook better food then the GFS frozen food most places serve now days.

My wife and I went for lunch. The restaurant was clean, and everyone we had contact with were absolutely the friendliest people. Constantly smiling and just a very pleasant experience. We both ordered the cherry house burger, and it was just so tender, and moist. The burger was one of the best we both have had in this area. Their cherry bourbon sauce on it was really really good. The broccoli, carrot and nut salad was great, as was the loaded baked potato salad and homemade coleslaw. The house cookie was great, tasted like an almond joy, and the peanut butter cookie was amazing. Overall I would highly highly recommend trying the Cherry House Cafe.
