Evelyn's Coffee & Banh Mi

Nice coffee shop with a welcoming interior and interesting fusion menu. Vietnamese and Korean dishes available. I tried the special báhn mì. These sandwiches are served warm, which is a nice change from the traditional morning sandwich. Also overstuffed with ingredients for a nice value, but borderline bloated. Layers of meat left me full after half because of my báhn mì expectations. Everything is clean inside with fresh ingredients.

Excellent place. The Bahn Mi and Kimbap were very good as well as the coffee beverages offered there. Prices are appropriate and it has a nice atmosphere!

Got the Vietnamese iced coffee, lemongrass chicken Bahn mi, and vegetable dumplings for lunch. Also got a tiramisu latte to go. All were absolutely delicious and the food was very filling at a very reasonable price. I will absolutely make this a regular stop!

Checked out this awesome now Mom and Pop place in downtown Akron. Tucked into an unassuming corner with free parking off to the side, this is a cute little coffee shop that specializes in Vietnamese coffee, sweet, strong and creamy. They also have traditional coffee items and pastries as well as some authentic southeast Asian street foods like multiple varieties of Ban Mi sandwiches. My favorite was the chicken meatball but we also enjoyed the Dac Biet. There was no jalapeños in the sandwiches, but I didn't miss them.

Taro milk tea with Boba was creamy and delicious, not too sweet which I appreciated. Papaya Salad was delicious--crunchy tart and and refreshing. We also enjoyed the Vietnamese salad, and actually enjoyed putting it into our Banh Mi's. My kids went to town on the Boba tea.

The staff were polite and professional and hygienic precautions were followed. There is no sit down dining for now but they say that they will open it up as the pandemic hopefully lessens.

Overall this is a great place, priced right, locally owned and cooks who are literally like little Vietnamese moms and dads. Well worth a visit! I wish I lived closer.

Cute place with excellent drinks and bakery items. Never ordered their actual food yet. I wish they would sell the Vietnamese iced coffee in a large- they only serve as a medium. It is freaking delicious!

It’s great to have this independently owned coffee shop in downtown Akron! They offer a variety of regular and seasonal drinks. They also have a kind staff and great Asian food offerings. Check it out!

So excited that there is finally a Korean, Vietnamese place. Finally something local. I got the Taro Milk Tea, Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi and Kimbap. The milk tea is perfect and not to sweet. The kimbap is decent but can be more flavorful. The banh mi is really good! Portion and price is reasonable especially for a college student like myself.

Would definitely go back and try everything else on their menu! It is a really nice place to hang out at.

Spectacular food and service. Worth making a special trip out for. I tried the pork belly and pickled jalapeño sandwich - I could eat that everyday!

Veggie banh mi is so SATISFYING and tasty! Vietnamese iced coffee is always a great treat too. I love that I can be in and out quickly, spend under $15 and have a whole lunch with a drink and a cookie. My only complaint is that they're not open later!

The Dac Biet Bahn Mi was absolutely incredible - fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced.

The. Iced. Coffee. My goodness. INCREDIBLE! Honestly, I think the Vietnamese Iced Coffee I had today may have been the best iced coffee I have EVER had. Such a strong coffee flavor without being bitter or acidic, and just a tad sweet.

The vegetarian dumplings are air fried not deep fried which is awesome… so flavorful & tender.

Great prices, wonderfully friendly staff.
