Gave one star due to location. Tried this place many years ago and was never impressed with quality or value so haven’t been back..skip to 2022 and wow, just awful. I had a coupon for BOGO so I thought okay..I’ll try it again. Unfortunately, I will probably never go again..$7 for an iced chai latte that tasted..off. It’s normally my summer go to drink so as soon as I sipped it I thought, “did I just brush my teeth?” Didn’t want to complain since I used a coupon but it was so awful I eventually asked for a regular hot latte..since I paid $7..I think the chai was either old or the sugar was omitted (and I’m not a sweets person but in a chai latte, it’s a necessity). Exchange wasn’t an issue and service was professional and friendly though not enough reason to frequent imo. Ordered chocolate milk as my “free” drink for my daughter..they use Wal-mart milk..nothing against it but nothing about this place seemed local aside from the cool handmade items that are sometimes for sale..also, they don’t have whipped cream, just fyi.

Would give zero starts if I could. Went there to study she followed me to the back and told be to leave because I didn't purchase anything. Tried to compare me to a homeless person and kept mentioning a policy. For students needing to study I would go elsewhere.

Update: They've added some muffins and items from Village Juice Company, which is awesome. This definitely accommodates several dietary restrictions.
Love this little neighborhood coffee shop. The staff and regulars are great to talk to. Some of their special menu items are so good, I wish they were around all the time.
I do wish they had a few more food options, especially something for those with special diets.

Best coffee in Winston Salem NC. Beats Starbucks hands down 👇

A cool funky little coffee shop, great atmosphere.

Always a pleasant experience and nice staff. Coffee is great and the environment is comforting, prices are reasonable to boot with how well the drinks are made.

Awesome coffee at really great prices. Store was nice and clean, I wish I had been able to stay and enjoy my coffee instead of rubbing off to work myself.

Decided to come here instead of Dunkin. Walked in excited to try it. What dead, zero cust svc. Like I interrupted her. No care in making latte either. Wham, bam, now get out here attitude. I smiled the whole time and even tipped her. Huge mistake. You've got problems here. Fri 12:40pm

Innovative and thoughtful. Got the seasonal blueberry cold brew - blueberry forward, florally and surprisingly not sweet; no fake cough syrup-esque flavors here, all house-made coffee additions. Wife ordered an oat milk hazelnut latte; they don’t skimp on the coffee as the sizes go up which we love because so many places in the city keep the espresso count the same and just dilute with milk, leaving…mostly milk. Get yourself down to this neighborhood favorite nestled next to some other great businesses and support local!

Just had a cortado for myself and a latte for my wife. Very nice staff but, not good coffee. I don’t like to write a review that is scorching but…Your better off going to Starbucks!!!!( and I am not a big fan of Starbucks)
