This place is so cool! I love the sweet, calm vibes of the place. Very local, featuring local artisans and all their own spice blends & even the beans for their coffee. I got the masala blend (you can vegan-use everything) and it was sooo good. Highly recommend 💕

The coffee is great! Staff are very nice and friendly. They have so many exotic drinks but their classic cappuccino is as awesome! Definitely recommend this place. The book store is pretty cool as well, get a coffee and walk around :)

This unique place called Pomegranate Books and Zola cafe is a hidden gem in Wilmington that I discovered shortly after moving to Wilmington about 5 years ago.
Zola Cafe roasts their coffees in house and the specialty coffee drinks and teas are creative and full of flavor!
I attended a book signing last night with author, Andrew Lawler, who wrote the book, "The Secret Token" about the myths, obsessions, and the search for the 'Lost Colony of Roanoke.' There was a crowd of over 30 people who attended to hear an excerpt and we were able to engage our curiosity with questions and answers from Andrew.
You will always be greeted and assisted by the awesome, well-read people who work there, led by owner and host, Kathleen!
They have such a great collection of books, old and new, beautiful cards and gifts, and my personal best place to get 'Puzzles'! Artistic, creative, unique, rare, are all the different types of things you will find there.
They even have free wi-fi so you can enjoy a refreshing drink and delicious snacks, while catching up with emails or surfing the web.
Our community is a better place because of great local businesses like Pomegranate Books and Zola cafe.

Wonder, delicious coffee, masquerading as a book store. Or is it a book store masquerading as a coffee shop? Can't go wrong either way.

This place is a cute gem. I love that they have some good coffee. Would definitely come back again.

Very kind staff, knowledgeable about all our specific coffee questions. Amazing quality drinks! They've got a mortar and pestle to freshly grind spices, and have very creative drink flavors that aren't too sweet and don't overpower the coffee. Bought three different kinds of drinks and a couple different bags of beans since they roast on site. Got to wander around the bookshop while our beverages were expertly crafted. Definitely stop by here for the best coffee!

Delicious drinks!
Friendly and knowledgeable service.
Neat atmosphere in a bookstore.
A bit on the slow serving, but worth it the wait!!!
If you like drinks on the sweet side- definitely ask for that because they don't make overly sweet- which is better because sweetener can be added and not removed.

By far the best coffee in Wilmington -- and the only place in town that roasts their own beans. Very creative specialty drinks that are made with real ingredients and freshly ground spices, not powdered mixes or syrups. Perfect ambience for getting work done, browsing books, or catching up with a friend. Yes, it's a little more expensive than other places in town, but more than worth it for the quality.

Quiet coffeeshop with a bookstore in the same building. Also, the coffee was very low in acidity and tasted wonderful 😲

Very likely the most unique and intriguing coffee shop in Wilmington. When I first went there I was awed by the Lavender Latte and Green Matcha Latte in the menu. While I am a big black coffee guy, variety is still the spice of life. Do I also love that it is inside a bookstore? Hint: Yes. Perfect place to go read your favorite page-turner on a crisp Saturday morning.
