Cheeky Monkey Coffee

The coffee (oat milk latte) was good! The vibe is cute! However, I didn’t like the banana bread I got. It didn’t taste like freshly baked but bought from grocery store…The customer service can improve too. The lady served me this morning was kinda rushing and not very nice.

This place was incredible! The coffee was great and the staff were super nice. I had a caramel frappe and it was so good. My friend got a chai tea latte and she said it was great too. Would definitely come back.

My favorite coffeeshop in Wilmington! If you’re looking for great coffee, delicious pastries, and an inviting atmosphere, you have to check out Cheeky Monkey. They have the most unique specials that will keep you coming back to try more. In addition to the friendliness of their staff, they are always willing to make a suggestion or offer one of their favorites.

If you’re heading downtown, stop in and grab a coffee! My favorite is the Fall Festival (delicious any time of the year). Also, they collaborate with Crave Vegan baked goods, so check out the chickpea blonde brownies. This coffeeshop is truly one of Wilmington’s best local spots.

Delicious iced coconut milk latte and iced sweet tea. My husband is very picky about his sweet tea and said that you know you're in the south cause this is some good sweet tea. Very cute decor. Definitely recommend to check out when in Wilmington!

The ambiance was great and the coffee even better! The specialty late I had was sweet and tasty without being overpowering or overly bitter. The coffee had a nice balance of flavors that you can only get with specialty!

First time in Cheeky Monkey and I really enjoyed it.I had their Cheeky Chai and it was great...not too sweet and an even balance of spices. The music played was well chosen and the service was quick and friendly. Room was sunny even with the rain today and very clean. I have only good things to say about Cheeky Monkey...try it for yourself!

Tried the Americano and friend got the current brew, mine tasted like "office coffee", the super weak kind. I didn't have to ask my friend anything, he said "well, it was worth a try". I really like the place, but that coffee is for someone else.

I came in for a coffee one afternoon, and it was fairly busy with folks on laptops. I decided to sit at one of the two outdoor tables, but being right by the street it was pretty loud and distracting. It's priced pretty similarly with other coffee shops in town. The coffee was just ok, so I'm not sure this would be my first choice next time.
Update: I visited a couple more times to try other drinks and had positive experiences. While this is still not my favorite coffee, the employees are very kind, and it can be a good place to sit and work!

Great place to stop by and order your favorite Matcha Latte, before you head down to the river walk in Wilmington NC. Happy family makes for a happy day!

This shop is beautifully designed and staffed by very friendly people. My husband got a drip coffee and I got a London Fog. He took one sip of mine and decided that's what he's ordering from coffee shops from now on because it was that good. We also got a chocolate sea salt biscotti that was perfect. We will be back! Thank you!
