Giving this a 2 because my kid liked her elmo cupcake. I did not enjoy my cakes. One was a chocolate cake with hazelnut frosting. To me the cake was stale and after two bites I threw it away. The chocolate cupcake with the chocolate mousse was not to my liking. The cake was also stale. I like moist sweet cakes with bold flavors. These cakes were dry with subtle flavors. If you like that kind of cake then this place is perfect. The price was not so bad. I've spent at least $16 dollars or more on slices of cakes and didn't mind because the cake was so good. The three cakes I bought from here cost me a little over 8 dollars, which I'm glad because I was not pleased with the taste of the cakes. Maybe the cookies are better.

There's good cinnamon roll and then there's Apple Annie's! I don't know why it's taken me this long to show some love for this great bakery! I discovered this bakery many years ago at their Mayfaire location. I was hooked! I eventually had to stop going that way on my bike rides because it was too much of a good thing. Now I've gotten myself under control and I try to do it once or week or less, but oh my is it worth it! If you really want to experience it to the fullest, go to this location when they first open and get it fresh! Words can't describe the ecstasy of a warm cinnamon roll from Apple Annie's. You owe it to yourself to visit this amazing bakery! I"d for sure sing for a lifetime of free cinnamon rolls if they offered! For them, let's sing, "Beautiful", from my "Better Than" album, but let's sing it like this, instead of "the taste of your lips," let's change that to "the taste of your cinnamon rolls", too much? Thank you Apple Annie's for making our Sunday's wonderful!

Quite disappointing, it says a lot to throw away carrot cake and a brownie for dryness and lack of taste.

We came to Apple Annie's on Military Cutoff after a long morning of Christmas shopping and post-Thanksgiving traditions. We were so excited for a sweet treat somewhere and looked this place up and were unfortunately disappointed. While the display of options was overwhelmingly exciting, the customer service was beside acceptable. We were the ONLY customers in the store and the staff rushed us, did not answer our questions about recommendations instead proceeded to just list off items they have in an annoyed manner and were extremely unfriendly when asked for their opinion between two potential treats. On top of their extremely unpleasant attitudes, the cookies were stale, the cakes were dry and the coffee they made such a big deal about us ordering...was cold. I worked in the food industry for years and I know everyone has off days, but this was intentional carelessness, poor customer service and a let down to our taste buds.

I usually only take the time to write good reviews, but since it's the 3rd time I have had the same issue I'm hoping managment will take note. On 2/12/21, I purchased 2 Linzer Tart Cookies (large), Black & White cookie and a BearClaw. The Black & White crumbled like bread crumbs the icing just fell off. Both Linzers Rasberry preserves were like glue not fresh like at all.
. I know not a large order but not the point.I hate when I have to throw money away and not even get to enjoy.. I have been in the food / service industry most of mfy life and I have always said if you wouldn't eat it ,Dont Serve it.You have a Great Bakery, just hoping for better consistency. Thanks

We have been getting our kids birthday cake from apple Annie's for 16 years in a row. My youngest had a minecraft theme this year. The cake looked perfect for what my son wanted. The taste, was the best in 16 years. Not sure why but it was. We went to the landfall location this year because last year for my older son the service at Kerr wasn't the best, but the ladies at the landfall location were excellent. Restored our faith in customer service for that bakery

I was in about a month ago and wanted to share what a pleasant experience it was. I needed cup cakes for a birthday celebration at the office. The clerk was super helpful, the service was fantastic and the cupcakes were a huge hit! I wish I had taken a photo... they were decorated beautifully as well.

The lemon cake for my daughters birthday was exactly as dreamed off by my 5 year old daughter! Amazing - every single guest loved it - absolutely delicious and beautifully designed in pink an purple. 5 Stars for sure!

Medicore baked goods at outrageous price!

Ordered a dozen chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with pink cream cheese frosting for a baby shower. Requested carrot cake cupcakes but was told they couldn’t make those. Was charged $2.25 per cupcake for a “Special order” and an additional 10 cents each for the pink frosting. $30 for a dozen cupackes!!!!

Best sweets ever!! I posted my empty plate after eating my biscuit style blueberry scone this morning which tasted nothing like Colorado scones, putting them to shame. Really hoping I can ship some to my CO friends so they can experience the southern yuminess!!
