I have been looking for a good local coffee shop to support rather than the large chains. This is a great place, very friendly atmosphere, great selections and good prices! Will definitely be coming back.

I cannot explain why I give this place so many chances. Probably because it’s the only coffee shop for miles near me. They have no idea how to make a consistent drink. I constantly ask for drinks “extra hot” because they come out tepid at the best of times and they still do not heat up the drinks. The shop is cute inside but that’s about it. Wendell needs a new coffee shop.

Chai latte was decent, decor was nice, staff not very welcoming. Staff preparing food did not have on gloves or masks. Most likely my first and last time going. Farmhouse Cafe is the new spot.

Honestly, great coffee. My friend recommended them to me and I ended up getting a Carmel macchiato and my boyfriend got a mango smoothie. I would go back for sure. The drinks were amazing. The lady that served us seemed sweet, didn’t say much to us though. I love the coffee shop feel and I will be back to relax inside with some coffee next time 😊

Nice atmosphere, good espresso, and great treats/pastries. It's often buzzing when I'm there, but usually not much of a line. You should definitely stop in if you're in the area!

Updated: Went back for another try after a year. Still terrible and slow service. Still no mask. What a shame.
Decent food and coffee, but none of the baristas and staff was wearing a mask during a pandemic. Had the panini, was very tasty but waited a while for it even though there weren't a lot of customers. And when it was finally ready the server just put the box on the counter without telling me that was my food. When I asked she turned to ask the cashier and none of them directly answered the question or told me that was my food. Very weird experience.
I won't be going back. Even if it's not mandatory, it is respectful to wear a mask and gloves when you work in the food industry. Will stick to Farmhouse Cafe, much more professional, friendly and better food there.

They have great coffee, food, staff and atmosphere. Their Pumpkin Spice Latte is 10 times better than the one at Starbucks. And I highly recommend their gluten-free brownie. I also really like that they play Christian music here. Just wish they had a changing table in at least one of the bathrooms.

We stopped by this great place on our way to the Outer Banks. We saw the reviews online and not only was the coffee great so was the food. We had a goat cheese and bacon panini and the fig goat cheese salad both were delicious. Staff was very friendly and a great environment.

Me my husband and daughter have been coming to this coffee shop since it opened. We've all witnessed a steady decline in service and overall food quality in the last year. I've had a barista that was talking very badly about me without realizing I was standing right beside him after I placed a pick up order during Covid shutdowns. I've had my hot sandwich order given to me cold at least 4 times now and most recently I watched a barista poor leftover expresso into my iced macchiato instead of making it fresh. Im more than disappointed to write this view as we have loved and enjoyed this little shop but the quality and friendly faces that kept us coming back are no longer there.

Another visit, another experience with absolutely horrendous customer service. Plus, there was an employee who took our order, made our food and provided it to us with no mask (and no customer service skills for that matter). Fortunately my food was great! My husbands, not so much. And for the opener to state in a precocious review that mask are not required by employees with exemptions - those individuals shouldn’t be preparing and serving orders.
