I travel full time and visit new coffee shops almost every day. That being said, the best value shop I’ve visited in a long time is SMCR. Their coffee is amazing and they have 5 roasts on drip, including decaf. Their drip coffee prices are less than half of Starbucks and most roasters. On top of it all they have very friendly service, good WiFi, and a decent amount of seating. I didn’t get to try their pastries but noticed they have a large assortment. Definitely recommend!

Love seeking out coffee shops and this one was special because they were roasting the beans while we sipped our coffee.

Great coffee spot, I've been several times just for the coffee. I decided I would try their other offerings, I had the Lox bagel and a very berry smoothie, both were excellent!

This is my new favorite coffee place - which is inconvenient since I live in Florida. Was just passing through and decided to try it. The coffee is amazing, great bagel and lox sandwich and the smell of active coffee roasting is just divine. Highly recommend!

Cute shop with lots of coffee flavor options and latte flavors. With the long list of options, you are bound to find something you will like. Seasonal flavor right now is “witches brew”. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Staff is very friendly.

Stopped in today to give it a try. They were friendly with good prices. It was cozy and coffee was good. We’ll be back.

Best coffee shop in Waynesville. Since the pandemic others have closed or gone online only or had inconsistent hours. They changed their hours for a while but adapted and powered through such tough times. The best is when you’re walking up on a cool morning and you can smell them roasting. If you’re visiting don’t miss this little gem in the mountains!!
