Most welcoming staff, VERY helpful and understanding when asking about diabetic and allergy needs. Food and drink are freshly made, top notch, and great quality. Always good quality food and coffee at Panacea. Its one of our favorite breakfast locations and their lunch is good as well. If you like locally roasted coffee, this is a don't miss.

Lovely spot to sit and chill. I had the London fog and it was the best I've ever had. The chocolate muffins are delicious and so was the turkey breakfast sandwich I tried.

I love coffee shops and make finding a fun, local shop a focus any time I am visiting a town/city. Panacea is one of those places that makes this pursuit worthwhile. The coffee is simply amazing. My husband and daughter were in Waynesville a few days before I arrived and they called me from Panacea to tell me what a treat was in store when I got to try it. I loved the coffee so much I bought pounds of it to resell in my flower shop in Raleigh. You can tell it is roasted with love and care and great attention to quality. The coffee drinks on the menu are interesting but not overly fussy. The food is great and again straightforward and prepared as if for family. A must stop in the NC mountains!

Very spacious! A ton of seating options both inside and out. The outdoor option benefits from the relaxing sound of a gentle stream nearby. Good WiFi. The music isn’t too loud. Great place to relax or get together with friends.

Large space great for reading or working on a laptop and a wonderful menu. We’ve had various espresso drinks as well as breakfast and lunch items. Everything is always delicious and the staff is kind and friendly.

As for desserts, this is my favorite and what draws me here most, especially the chocolate chip cookies and white chocolate raspberry scones which I can’t seem to find anywhere else. Yum!

The only thing I dislike is getting a bagel with cream cheese or a bagel and lox. They just give you a thing of cream cheese to spread on yourself. I really could do that at home—when I go out for coffee and a bagel I’m looking forward to a hot, ready made bagel unlike what I can make at home.

The only other drawback is at times the musical genre playing in the background makes it harder to concentrate fully on reading or writing. However, this is made up for by the second seating area where there isn't music playing.

Honestly one of the most welcoming and great tasting coffee houses I've ever been to. The art and views from balcony outside is beautiful. Anytime I'm in town I will be sipping coffee here and eating one of their delicious sandwiches.

My wife and I absolutely love this coffee shop. The atmosphere is one of the best, with lots of seating and plenty of tables. They have a large selection of drinks and corresponding flavors. Additionally, they have tons of great food choices if you get hungry. Plus, of its nice outside they have a great outdoor seating area too.
