Giddy-Up Coffee House

This place is amazing!!! First time in Washington for a coworker weeding, she recommended this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the white chocolate latte is delicious, I also got a everything bagel with garlic Herbs amazing. Love this place. See you next time for sure!!!

Terrific spot for a coffee drink and gourmet pastry or bagel. Sit inside or in comfortable outdoor seats. I used my phone as a Hotspot to get internet. They may have wifi but didn't look obvious to me. If you are wanting a break from staying with someone that is in the hospital, this is a very short walk but you cross 2 busy streets that don't have crosswalks. Not a problem at the time of day I went.

This place has the best coffee in town except for my house of course, mine better, but nobody else is. Wait, then why do I come here. I guess they ARE the best in town. The have I drive through, ample seats inside and outside seats. This is a true coffee shop.

Went through the drive thru today. Really should have known better, but my regular spot was closed. So once again I gave the giddy-up a chance and once again received a cup of regret. Tell me exactly how a latte that is supposed to have 3 shots of espresso in it, and I asked for an extra shot as well, ends up being paler than milk? Also explain how I was telling the barista that I really preferred iced coffee over a latte and still ended up with a latte? It's like we were speaking a different language. This place started out good way back when, but somehow it's turned into sweetened milk and no coffee at all. I notice I am not the only one saying that there isn't any coffee in the coffee, I also notice the owner doesn't seem to care.

***Edit*** Evidently competition is a sore spot with the owner, so much so that he/she even began referring to themselves in 3rd person. Some coffee with actual coffee in it may could fix that. You have a Happy New Year as well!

I love Giddy up. They always make me a special drink just for me. I call it Apple Spice drink. It is delicious. I can't wait for the next drink. I hear they will deliver so they may hear from me more often.

Cute little coffee shop! My coffee is always made exactly how I like it! They change up their specials often, which I love because I like to try new drinks! Highly recommend.

Waited in line for 25 minutes for a mediocre iced coffee. There were only 4 cars in line at the time. The baristas were nice at least, but there’s no reason to have waited that long. Normally I don’t bother leaving reviews, but this is the third time I’ve experienced excessive wait times in the to-go line.

Edit: could have gone without the passive aggressive response from the owner. As stated previously, this is not the first time I’ve had this issue. The other times were during business days, so it seems like we can’t just blame it on it being a busy Saturday. Would have been nice to have been offered a resolution, and not just excuses. Congratulations to the newlyweds though! ☺️
