Wonderful fresh ingredients, sliced up right in front of you (sandwiches). Great breads and can't wait to try the baked goods and bread bowls of soups. Will be a return customer.

I had yummy creamy Spinach soup served inside a fresh crusty sourdough bread bowl! Absolutely brilliant!!! Desserts to die for and a funky soda machine!

Great place, awesome staff and everything I have tried there is excellent! Valdese has always needed a places like this. Drop in for coffee and a donut it's so good will make you want to come back for lunch.

Great coffee. Breakfast. Boars head sandwichs. Lunch. Soups. And home made meals to go during the week (with order earlier in day). I stop by a few times a month on my way by.

My husband went and said the sub he ate was great, fresh baked bread too. I have purchased the doughnuts. I have to say the best donuts ever! Can't eat a salad because they use Iceburg lettuce. The parasites in Iceburg lettuce is a drawback. I can't eat it because it makes me ill. A substitution of organic products like: spinach, spring mix, or Romaine. I say organic because, the lettuce that is grown in America has tended to be tainted with all sorts of bacteria. Unclean facilities unclean processing.

Old World has a solid sandwich selection and awesome doughnuts. The hours are good and service is quick at the counter. This is a great choice for a quick lunch.
