Surf City Coffee

Really nice little coffee shop with wonderful coffee but more than that... the staff! So friendly and gave nice recommendations for us on our vacation. They also make you try your drink before you pay to make sure you like it, amazing.

Visited twice this week and I’ll be back each time we visit Topsail Island! Had a coconut mocha frappe both times and it was AMAZING! My mom said the medium roast coffee was also great. Even better than the coffee was the absolutely amazing customer service. Both trips I walked away thinking I couldn’t have met nicer people.

Really great iced and hot mochas + friendly staff (who held onto my water bottle after I forgot it there and let me pick it up the next day). Definitely best coffee we had during our stay on Topsail.

The ladies here were so kind to make me a latte even tho they were already closing up and cleaning everything. They were so sweet and the coffee was good!

Good service.
Poor Latte... No espresso.
There is a much better place close by.
Response: I drink lattes every day, with good quality fresh roasted & ground espresso... So I know what I am talking about. I'd never would spend the $ on something that tastes like McDonald's.

Coffee is basically all the same to me but service makes a difference. We went in to get a coffee for my wife, the staff was very nice. They have a free gumball machine and gave free Capri-Suns to our kids. Pretty incredible that the only business the received from us was a small coffee but offered the kids juices. Would recommend to all not just for freebies but because they could tell we are vacationers and treated us like locals.

Must go!! Every morning to get your coffee and sweets the owner and staff are the nicest people you will ever meet! They also have a gift shop inside with all kinds of things from art to jewelry I love this place and i get my coffee here every morning if I'm working and that's 6 days a week. 👍👍

I visited Surf City Coffee shop in December, I am an African American female. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with a smile and the owner prepared my coffee with a smile. I payed and then the owner said to me now get out of my store. I do not believe this was a joke nor was it kind. I will never visit this coffee shop again when I visit Surf City.

The coffee is really good. I got a white chocolate mocha with toasted marshmallow and it was so good. The owner and worker were both very friendly and inviting. We came to watch the sunrise at the beach and have a coffee and this was so convenient because it was just a few steps from the beach access point.

Surf city coffee hands down has the best coffee on the island! They are very friendly and their macchiato‘s are to die for!! It’s a very cute and comfy little coffee shop !
