Cafe de Olla Italian Restaurant

We were looking for place for dinner following a drive on the Cherohala Skyway. A local recommend Cafe de Olla.

What a great find!!! We had the "Little Italy" (lasagna, chicken Alfredo and chicken Parm) and a pizza. Food was cooked perfectly and served screaming hot.

Great service from Sierra! Would absolutely recommend this place.

So it seems like alot of good reviews of local restaurants get posted here. Here's one that's different then most. We recently had some friends staying with us while they purchased a home here. Looking for a good meal we did Cafe de Olla. We had eaten there on a number of occasions and were impressed with the food and the service. Not so this time! We ordered from the car 3 Italian meals and a plain hamburger and fries. Arriving for pickup approx 30 minutes later our order was not ready. In fact it took another 20 minutes. Our food was brought out to our car, credit card was taken and we then waited at least another 5 before our card was returned. When arriving home the hamburger was not as ordered AND there were NO FRIES! A call was made to the restaurant and staff was informed and told to apply a credit for the hamburger portion of the order. NO credit was ever applied. I made another call to the restaurant a few days later this time explaining the problem to another employee who informed me that only the manager can issue credits. Of course the manager was unavailable to speak with me. I left my phone number and was assured that the manager would be in touch. 4 days and NO manager has contacted me. All that I expected was an apology for the error on the order and a credit for that portion. In such a small community word of mouth is extremely important for the success or failure of a business. Too bad that the management of Cafe de Olla is unaware of this!

By far some of the best food not only in town, but in the region! I've never had anything but stellar food here! PiZZAS: great! Lasagna - great! Spagheti w / meatballs - great!

Everything was delicious. Fair prices and large portions. I highly recommend the ravioli.

The only good thing we had was the fried ravioli. My mother in laws pizza was soggy, our orders were wrong. I asked for a calzone with light ingredients- the thing was so stuffed and greasy I just ate the edges. My husband got the same thing and ate it the same way.

My mom is a local and I live in GA. First time eating here. The food and price were great! Big portions and our waitress was fantastic! Very clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Sure wish I had stopped here sooner. What a delicious little stop. People were friendly and food was great. I will definitely return to this spot. Can't wait to try the pizza.

Great food and great atmosphere. Karcee was our waitress and she was super knowledgeable with the menu... and cute as a button. Give that woman a raise! If you’re in the area and want some super good Italian food this is the place.
