Pine State Coffee

Pine State Coffee is an amazing place. Folks behind and in front of the bar are very kind and positive people to start your day with.

Coffee roasted there is on point, and barista owners know how to serve it up (check this latte photo.)

They usually have 2-4 local beers on tap, and have been gathering folks for Saturday afternoon events in their covered patio.

Not only is the coffee satisfying, cheap, and quick to your lip-- the amazing, friendly, and laid back employees also keep you coming back for more. From my short week in Raleigh, this place was my first stop every morning. Fully recommend if you are ever in the area!

Amazing coffee and even better service! The owner was super nice and friendly to my friends and I. Despite being in Raleigh, it felt like we were in a small town coffee shop where everyone knew each other. 10/10 would recommend!!

Tried some of their cold brew at and event recently and it was soooo good. Highly recommend. Definitely will stop by again when in the area!

This is the best coffee shop around! They have a lot of locally sourced products (Mocha latte with Escazu chocolate!), and the staff and owner are very friendly and get to know you. They have multiple options for milk and don't charge for an "upgrade" to almond milk. The best part for me is that they have so many spots to plug in your device! This can be so hard to come by if you go to a coffee shop during peak times.

Staff was chill and happily talked about indepth coffee knowledged roasting, brewing machines etc, music selection was perfect and the coffee was damn tasty.

Also pastries from Strongarm were seriously delicious. Definitely going back soon

This place is GREAT! Locally roasted coffee, cool staff, great music and great food. Had a bacon bun this morning! Bacon and cheese in flaky layers. We will keep coming back. Skip Starbucks and support local.

(edited)I have visited this place several times now to give it as many chances as I can. I see many glowing reviews about all of the amenities and friendly staff, but no one mentions the product. I see several reviews mentioning beer(?). It’s my understanding this is a coffee shop. A working phone to ask these questions or clear up misinterpretation of intent certainly would have been helpful. Alas, they have none. I love coffee and would dearly love a suitable source near me. I am afraid this is not that place.

It is fine i guess, if you don’t like coffee or choices. Poor representation of actual coffee as the main product. One size fits(?)all and I hope you like sugar b/c that’s the only sweetener option. Shot pours could not be watched to verify, but tasted short/weak. No options offered aside from whole milk for espresso drinks. Tasted like there may also be burnt milk backed up in their steaming wand. Very limited menu and baristas/employees with absolutely no knowledge of the bulk product (beans). In a market saturated with excellent coffee options, this need not be one.

. Supposedly have the best Wi-Fi this side of town. I suppose with fewer public facilities open this is a plus. Lots of merchandise and clothes toting the name of the business. Hats, shirts, shoes, totes, etc. Perhaps they should be pine state clothing? If you need a decent trucker hat, this is your spot. If you need coffee go somewhere else.

Digging the new coffee shop. Has a very "homey" feel. Perfect for an early or midday coffee or local beer while reading a book or socializing with friends. They also roast their own beans and have several options for quick bites. Adding this spot to the regular rotation of area coffee shops.

Awesome service, cool atmosphere and delicious coffee. It feels like you're walking into a skate shop/mini REI. Great place to work while enjoying coffee and music.
