I live in Durham, but when I come to Norlina to visit my brother, Phillip Parham, we come to the Whistle Stop Cafe to eat. A great place to eat. Food was very good. And people were very nice, especially Ernestine. Gave you a star 5.

Liked our meal tonight, the meatloaf was great & the homemade mashed potatoes too! Our topic of discussion tonight & the chic-n-dumplins...we know now what it was! - it was definitely the "pot". Grandma always said some pots you use for certain specific things & nothing else because the taste will get in other stuff & that proves to be the case! That must've been the previous cooks pot for chitlins & only chitlins! Change pots & bet'cha it'll change! We'll be back!

Was cheerfully greeted. Ordered fried chicken with okra and mac & cheese, very good, enjoyed my meal. Cashier was very friendly, sweet lady.
