Linville River Mercantile

Went by 4 different times during their listed hours and they were not open. Bummer. Their Facebook page is now defunct. I think they must have closed at least temporarily. They should really edit their hours online and post a sign at the building.

A wonderful little place with incredible desserts! The tres leches and the peach cobbler are to die for!!! The husband and wife owners are so friendly and accommodating! Don't miss this place!

The fact that all reviews aren’t 5 stars is a shame. Two of the nicest people in the world run this small bakery that sells THE best deserts you will ever have. I always recommend this place to friends

This is one of the most loving places that I’ve ever been to. The moment I walked through the door I was overcome with a calming happiness. This is one of God’s hidden gems scattered across the earth. The baked good are to die for. A must visit if you are in the boone, Linville, or Appalachian area.

I'm upset because I have tried numerous times to come to your store so I can taste some of your desserts but nobody answers the phone an when I show up during the supposed business hours yall are closed

Homemade cakes and pies…need I say more. Portions are huge and quality is impeccable. Parking is a little tough, but worth the wait.

Awesome service and amazing food. Everything is baked fresh on site! Every day! Including huge fresh cinnamon rolls and fresh made apple butter. A MUST to visit!

Hours need updated and posted somewhere. Waited for over twenty minutes, after driving thirty minutes of my way. They did not open at 11. The only sign said be back at 1.
