Friendly staff with great coffee. Multiple places to sit inside or out

A breath of fresh air. So glad we found this place. We are visiting and this is the only coffee shop that allowed people to come in and sit down and enjoy their coffee. Not to mention its the only coffee shop that I did not throw my coffee out. The Coffee and the barista where excellent.

We could not find a coffee shop in the area that would let us work there while we waited to check into our rental. So glad we found this place! Excellent coffee, kind staff, and peaceful environment.

Wonderful coffee shop in the heart of Manteo. Very friendly staff. Coffee is great. They have a prayer wall which is what makes it so memorable for me. I will definitely be back time and time again.

This coffee shop is my new favorite. I plan to come here every time I come down in the future, it's really welcoming and the coffee is terrific.

While the service was good, the soy latte was not. The flavor was lacking in my small latte with an extra shot, which makes me think they weren't pulling espresso through the machine using the correct timing or temperature. Then, the soy milk was heavily frothed/steamed and full of large bubbles. The layer of foam was good for a cappuccino, but beyond what is needed for a latte. I couldn't get over the bubbly texture of the foam and was disappointed. Definitely no latte art, which would've indicated the milk was frothed/steamed properly. More training is needed for the baristas.

Charis is amazing! I go there when I'm on vacation in kill devil hills. Definitely worth it! My coffee was on point! I will definitely keep going!!

We were looking for a good coffee and a nice place to stay with our friends this Saturday afternoon. We asked someone in the street and were ppinted to this newl opened Charis coffee. What a great place! Cool music, stylish furniture and design, very good coffee and above all warm welcome and profesionalism. Thanks! I highly recommend thia place to spend a good time. Guillaume.

Stopped on our way home from Nags Head. I had the Native which was delicious. It had just the right amount of sweetness. I loved the Christian music and comfortable vibe.

Great place, it reminds me of home in Charlottesville, Va! I asked the barista what his favorite was and he made me an almond milk, honey, and cinnamon latte that wasn't on the menu. It's perfect and exactly what I wanted. We will definitely be coming back!
