If you want some of the best cake you have ever put in your mouth, visit The Market! The Honey Bun cake is wonderful and my favorite! My friend tried the Italian and said it was better than the other bakeries in the area! They also have wonderful gifts, you can find things for everyone on your list!

Great place to get home decor and the most amazing bakery and coffee shop inside there also.

Yumminess, best advice if you like cakes is to stay away from this place. All jokes aside this place makes cakes like no other around, they are always coming up with new flavors. An example is even if you don't like something like coconut, you might still try their Italian Creme. When I ordered it I had no idea it was coconut as I don't like coconut, I ate it all up. New flavor I just got was chocolate peppermint, can't wait to try it.

This store used to be a great place to buy vintage and antiques. Unfortunately they got rid of all the antiques. Now it’s only a place that sells TJMaxx kitschy cookware with a small corner of simply southern clothes and soaps. It’s more of a bakery than a store. Super disappointed with this change.

A great place for unique items, some hand crafted and CAKE! They sell cake by the slice and they are soooo good! Did I mention they have CAKE!

This place is nothing short of amazing. Their cake is by far the best around. I’m a huge pumpkin fan and their pumpkin cake in the fall is unbelievable, I can’t wait for it to be back! You guys rock!

I’m afraid I don’t know which one is Dot & which one is Pearl. I stopped coming here when the customer service from one individual here was just so rude. I hadn’t been back for I’d say since it happened 2 yrs ago. There is a lady (maybe Dot…maybe Pearl), long gray curly hair and glasses…she is the rudest, not friendly or smiling person I’ve come across. Why do they have her working around customers? Is she the owner? Today we were out for the Holiday Stroll and wandered in against my better judgement. They seem to keep expanding to make more room for baking and less room for merchandise. It was pretty tight in there today especially. Same not friendly lady running the cash register. The other lady, whom also has a son that works there, they both were very friendly and answered questions, apologized for the wait and the card machine being crazy. Nope not the other lady, not a crack of a smile or an “I’m sorry or thank you for waiting.” I know I can’t be the only one in HP who doesn’t appreciate this one’s particular demeanor. The other time this said person was so rude was a Mother’s Day when I wanted to drop in to grab a piece of cake. She was at the door talking to another worker I assume. I came up and there was no sign as to their times which apparently had changed bc it was 10 on a Sunday. She looked at me through the door and hollered “We’re not open.” At which I was thinking no kidding. I asked if she could just tell me what time they open. She left me standing there as she continued to talk. Finally in her grumpy demeanor she unlocked the door and repeated herself about being closed. Maybe hang a time sign on your door and you wouldn’t even have to socialize with someone if you don’t want to. Maybe go to the back and make cakes, you can be grumpy and rude to the wall. Don’t know but this has really given me reason not to return as well and same for people I was with. There’s other bakery/thrift/ gift stores around town. Wish someone might just tell her to change her mood!!!

Cakes are delicious! The BEST in town. I have at least 5 favorites. Atmosphere is friendly and it smells heavenly. The staff are very patient if you're having a difficult time deciding.

Their desserts are simply delicious. German chocolate is one of my favorites.
