The Ugly Mug

I just went here yesterday for the first time me and my family was looking for some boba tea a place that we was going to go to was close so we came here and I'm glad that we did. As soon as we walked in it definitely had a cafe vibe there's people on their computers at the tables they had a little lounge area with a couch and bookshelf. My girlfriend and her son got boba tea and her other son got a frap he said it was better than Starbucks and I tried my girlfriend's boba tea and it was amazing and her son really loved his as well. The atmosphere was pretty cool and laid back felt relaxed. We will definitely be back next week to get some more goodies and try some different flavors.

I was in hurry so didn't get to sit and enjoy the extremely cozy and inviting at atmosphere, but I will absolutely be back. Large drink selection, made it hard to make up my mind but I'm not complaining. And they actually offer LARGE drinks! Most coffee shops a large drink is what I consider to be medium. When you NEED caffeine you want that 20oz large cup, at least I think it's 20oz.

First time here due to the other reviews! I really liked the vibe and the barista was super nice. I got a specialty drink, a latte, and a tea- all of them were great! My latte did have some ground coffee in it though, which was a bit unpleasant. But other than that, I was super impressed with the milk alternatives and awesome coffee selection! Definitely coming here rather than Starbucks from here on out!

My go-to coffee spot in Hendersonville. I love that they have a drive-through, it makes it really convenient to get coffee on the way to work without having to support a big corporation like Starbucks. They have consistently good espresso and non-dairy milk options. The customer service is always great, and they have a delicious variety of croissants. At this place you don’t have to trade convenience for quality, you get both!

The best local coffee shop! It’s a must stop on my way to work. The cinnamon rolls are a must have! Oh my gosh, no words just so yummy! Every coffee I’ve had is delicious, my favorite is the ugly mug white mocha. Love love love The Ugly Mug and the employees! ☕️

I love this place. It's so eclectic and the frozen coffees are AMAZING. I left my other coffee shop, and I safely call The Ugly Mug my new coffee home. They have tea as well, they make the most delicious frozen coffees, and very tasty pastries and sweets.They also have a wide variety of flavors and combinations, or you can make your own combination. I tried the cinnamon roll combination today and did not like it, too peppery tasting for me. I took them back, explained I didn't like them, and they re-made the drinks for me with no hassle. Staff has always been helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, I love and recommend this place to gourmet coffee lovers, especially the frozen drinks.

THE ONLY PLACE IN TOWN TO GET A SUGAR FREE FRAPPE!!!! And they are delicious. They are also have a wide variety of sugar free syrups you can add. Amazing staff and the coffee blows starbucks out of the water.

This is the absolute best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! They have a great selection and the staff are always so kind and calm, even when they are super busy. They do a great job of managing the line, drive through, and making drinks. The frozen coffees are my favorite but they also have THE best matcha frappe and iced matcha I’ve ever had. The matcha frappe is so creamy and has such good flavor. Frappes are far better than Starbucks imo. Every pastry I’ve had from there has been amazing. And the atmosphere is super cozy and inviting. It makes it even easier to support local business when they do such a fantastic job :) thanks yall!

I absolutely LOVE this place but received the worst service today. The blonde guy working was so incredibly sweet and accommodating with our 2 coffee order however the woman working slung the window open and exclaimed that they were “closing in 45 minutes” and proceeded to yell at her coworker, storm outside, and hop into her black Subaru Impreza. Making an americano instead of a whole new thing of coffee was fine but the attitude delivered with it was not welcomed.

What a great place for your favorite type of coffee beverage!! As well as great bagels and other danish es!! My wife and I decided to visit this great local place in Hendersonville today and we were really blown away with the great variety of coffee and tea choices that were available! It was really a nice place with a relaxing atmosphere and great service!
