Great coffee, great atmosphere, the help was great snd with a smile. The spinach artichoke dip with pita chips is to die for.

My experience here today was not good at all. We (my friend and I) ordered two lattes and a apple pastry. I had to request my latte be placed in the microwave because it was maybe luke warm. My friend takes a sip of her latte and she felt the same way, so we had to have her latte warmed up. We sit finally to enjoy the pastry and the pastry is completely cold in the middle. It was as though it had just came out the fridge. So we get up for a THIRD time to have the pastry warmed up. We dealt with four people and only one apologized and one had a complete attitude and threw the plate with the pastry on the counter after she put it in the microwave. We asked for the manager and surprisingly were told that he was not here.

Very nice place downtown with a large salection. A quant atmosphere with nice staff. Great little place for a morning pic me up... or just to get out of the cold.

Great coffee, quick, and large cup of freshly ground for $3.00. Damned good deal these days, especially when you really need a cup.
The people working here should try smiling and/or just speak as if they are interested in what they are there for, and not acting like automatons.

I loved this place! The latte I got was unique and delicious. They use quality beans (counter culture) and it’s a nice atmosphere. I had a chance to meet the owner who was very nice and even offered some really good local recommendations of things to do. It was overall a great experience! My daughter thought so too 😉

Love that they work with other local businesses, like Underground Baking! Quality coffee and lattes. Good food, but the breakfast sandwich was a little overpriced for what I got.

Update after revisiting: Jeez. Not any better. $27 for two cold brews and *one* grilled cheese. I understand inflation is effecting your business, but this seems pretty outrageous and we probably won’t be back.

I think it's a shame and disgrace that a pregnant woman can't use the bathroom without purchasing an item on the menu!! I always enjoyed Black Bear Coffee and was going to purchase something after I went to the bathroom, but was told the bathroom was for paying customers only! I will not be back and I hope other pregnant women aren't treated the way I was treated!
