Ziggy's Cafe

My sister Peri loves to eat here with her husband every Friday morning! Good food. Good coffee. Stopped in on 10/22/21 and had a great lunch. Ordered the western omelette, toast, hash browns. Omelette was huge and delicious. Toast was warm and buttered. Hash browns were crisp and delicious! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu!

Stop here everytime we visit our son and his family who are stationed at Cherry Point. Great food, excellent prices and cheerful, friendly staff. Highly recommend this spot.

The food is Okay...but the service is soooooo. Slowwwwwww. Do not come here if you have any sort of time-line you have to meet. Waitress are nice but have no sense of urgency to get the food to the customers. I think the kitchen staff can only handle one table order at a time. It is ashamed seeing how this is only one of the very few diners in the area.

Me and a friend ate here today for lunch and both order the fish sandwich. The service was really slow and it took us over 30 minutes after we ordered to get our food. My fish sandwich came out way over cooked and was of very poor quality, it had a single piece of Kraft single cheese on top, and a bun.
The fries were so over cooked that there was no potato left what so ever. It took over 30 minutes to get this meal, a meal that was dipped it hot oil and involved 0 culinary skills.
This was my first time here and it will definitely be my last! I didn’t even finish my meal and had to resort to drive thru McDonalds because I was late getting back to the office.

We (my family of 4) went here for breakfast on Saturday morning around 9. We waited outside for 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we immediately ordered food because we had been looking at the menu on Facebook outside. The place was fairly small and jam-packed close together (the picture of the inside with like 5 tables is massively inaccurate; try 15), but 80% of the tables were finishing up and leaving. None of the employees were wearing masks and only 1 other table had masks on while waiting. 40 minutes goes by and I had noted that no food had left the kitchen the whole time. The couple who was seated before us got their food and then we did. 8 tables had left during this time and filled by unmasked parties. My toddlers were clearly done by this time, jumping around the bench, screaming, trying to get out. I mean, we literally just ordered a waffle, 2 pancakes, one egg and cheese sandwich with grits, and corned beef. 40 minutes?? The pancakes were burnt on the bottom and they tasted just okay. Those pancakes and the waffle are definitely not something I would ever pay $6 each for again, sorry. The grits were definitely microwaved and then left somewhere to chill for 10 minutes - hard shell on top, room temperature on the inside, no butter or cheese or anything added. The other meals were okay as well, nothing I would particularly go back for. We were out the door by 10:20. But waiting an hour for breakfast with toddlers for mediocre, overpriced breakfast in a small, packed, maskless cafe is something I never want to do on a Saturday again. I'd rather go to IHOP next time.

This little cafe is brimming with good people and good food. The staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are fair. I have yet to have any negative experiences here ACCEPT the fact that I'm always too full to move after a great breakfast. The resturant itself very small but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Highly recommended by all us locals.

To go service was quick. Our food was hot and fresh. Love Ziggys

Small family owned vibe to this breakfast diner. The experience was great and I have made several return trips.

Always a line and once you've eaten you'll understand why. Specifically, the omelets are well prepared and delicious.

The service was exceptional for how busy they were and I never felt rushed.

Everything here is really good. My son said the coffee taste like hot water, however. Some adjustments may be made.

Need a good meal in a place that feels like home? Head over to Ziggy's hidden away in Westbrook Shopping Center. Portions are huge and the staff are super friendly. I had a brunch that was better than any I have enjoyed in quite awhile and I didn't even have to wait until the weekend! They have eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc, but next time I will try some soup and a sandwich since those looked so tempting. All of the food looked great as it came out of the kitchen and smelled even better. They have a big chalkboard listing daily specials which offered welcome variety here in Havelock.
