Barefoot Brew

Ordered a dark roast 16 oz coffee, requested a very small amount of cream. Coffee came out with a lot of cream, almost white. I should have checked before leaving the shop and requested a black coffee! $3.75 is a lot to pay for a simple 16 oz. coffee.

Today was a huge disappointment.
I sent a private text to Kelly asking for details on her pricing policy.
I noticed that the amount for a coffee was nearly double the Industry standard and asked why. At no point did I ask her to adjust the price, I only wanted to know how it was calculated.
After her response that included separate charges for everything but the coffee and the cup I opted to find a different establishment to frequent. I would have walked away and that would have been that but she couldn’t resist a little “dig” at the end calling me dear and then entitled.
… entitled to what?
Knowing what I’m paying for?
Six hours later her friends start to message me on Facebook bullying me and threatening me. One even claimed that I practice witchcraft.
This is my position:
While I CAN afford to pay $8.01 for an iced coffee…I SHOULDN’T. Because that’s way too far out of sync with other mom and pop coffee shops.
I’m familiar with Kelly’s practice of discouraging people who leave negative reviews to never darken her doorway again and I’m just going to assure her that that won’t be a problem. I’ll even go so far as to stop frequenting the sandwich shop as well. I shop local, ETHICAL businesses and hers crosses all the lines.

Don't go there unless you are ready to be shamed and bullied online for asking why a large coffee is over $8. Has nothing to do with how hardworking anyone is.

"They are so nice." Well, apparently even nice people will share private questions from customers in a public forum and then allow the whole town to have a go at them! Doesn't sound very nice to me. Sounds like middle school.

Update: the owner has continued to call people "undesirable" online. Don't be fooled by her fake niceness.

I absolutely love going to our local coffee shop throughout the week. The owners are so very friendly and so full of southern hospitality. Their young baristas are all amazing know my order and call my son by name every single time we are in there!

Really friendly employees, a lot of options so you'll definitely be able to find something you like. Overall great service and the best coffee I've ever had. Highly recommend

I’ve been a customer for a few months now and I saw the text fight between the coffee shop and the Tiff woman. It looks like the owner who really isn’t friendly at all is encouraging the “real”locals to shun the new woman for asking a question she didn’t want to answer. This public drama and internet lynching makes me feel unsafe going back in there. You just don’t know who is going to get violent these days and I’m not going to get caught up in anything over a cup of coffee. I’m definitely not letting my girls go there. Shame on them for escalating a situation to a potentially unsafe level.

Excellent list of flavors, the staff was super helpful and friendly. The coffee and muffins were great. Will be back!!

Love this place, both locations! I was so excited to try this place after our recent move to the area and was In Love! The shop is clean, well kept, cozy, and the girls in there are so sweet! And speaking of sweet, there are so many SF options and they are all great! I plan to try each one to find my favorite!

Love this place!! Every employee there always serves you with a smile and the coffee and loaded teas are amazingggg!!👏👏 I am a Starbucks lover but Barefoot Brew gives them a run for their money! I definitely recommend stopping by if you haven't already.
