The Kraken Coffeehouse

I have specific dietary needs (sugar free and dairy free) and every time I’ve been in there it’s never been a problem and they actually made suggestions to make my drink even better! 💗

Walked from the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office to Kraken Coffeehouse with some coworkers. It was my coworkers, Megan Leary's, last day of work!! Excellent atmosphere, quick service and friendly staff!! Delicious coffee!!❤️❤️

My husband and I went to the Kraken every week from when it opened to when our baby girl was born. The first coffee I drank after delivery was from the Kraken and when my mom picked up drinks for us, the baristas knew exactly who it was for and wrote us special notes on the cups. The coffee is delicious and the place is so welcoming. We are happy to be regulars here.

From the day we found out about this place, we’ve made it our “go to”. Why? The beverages are great of course. The staff are all very friendly and know what they are doing, , the atmosphere is perfect!, but most of all…. Its dog friendly and welcoming. Everytime we take our Schroeder into Kraken they treat him like a customer. Even when we went this past week, and some employees of a different local business were grumbling about “why do people bring their dogs in here?!!?” We knew it didnt matter… because our dog was welcome there anytime😊.

The best coffee and bubble teas!! Hands down and the employees are always the sweetest

No matter how busy or what our order is you always treat us like we are the most important people in the world. Your cold brew is great, the shipwrecked frappe is decadent, and we love the matcha, too! Great coffee shop!

I visited The Kraken for the first time yesterday afternoon and had a delightful time. The coffee was superb and the aesthetics were top-notch. Best part was that the staff were all wonderfully polite and friendly, and I felt right at home. It's tremendous to have such a happy bustling little place in EC now!

Delicious Nutella crepes and taro boba tea! Definitely have to go back to try more. Absolutely amazing art filled cool decor in converted brick Pure Oil cottage. Fabulous den of a sitting room with fireplace. Super barista who pointed me a few doors down to Jade Whale ( funky cool skateboard & gifts shop).

Went there today for the first time and fell in love with the place! I had the “Mary” latte in which the person ringing me up recommended. It was so delicious (buttery coconut). I can’t wait to go back!!! The atmosphere is amazing as well.
