Great place to grab a cup of Joe. Knowledgeable staff. I have only had the drip coffee but it is really good. $1.30 if you bring your own cup.

I love their cold brew. They get that cold brew should be made with a lighter roast, unlike Starbucks that uses their super dark french roast.

We own an espresso bar in Charlottesville, Virginia, and whenever we come to Durham we make a beeline for Joe Van Gogh for our espresso fix because it meets our high standards.

Had a fantastic Americano here. Very smooth, not a strong caffiene flavor. Place is very clean and charming as well.

Good coffee and delicious pastries. They even have a little toaster oven so you can warm up your pastries.
