Fantastic hidden gem! Great spot to burn some time when beach traffic is too busy or your house isn't available yet. Mediterranean bowl and bacon apple melt we're amazing. Mac and cheese was cheesily perfect too with large noodles! Great local drafts. Staff was friendly making sure everything was good

Good beer selection on tap. Creative menu, could use a little more flavor in the blackened chicken Mac and cheese but the caprese salad was fantastic and the Baja burrito was great. Honestly I'd eat a sleeve of saltines for dinner at this place because they had live music and outdoor seating, I could have sat there all night around a fire and listened to the blues.

After checking out the nearby OBX Lizard Land in Currituck, NC, my family and I stopped at Pass the Salt Cafe for a late lunch. Despite it being 2 P.M. there was a decent crowd inside, and by the time we left an hour later the dinner rush was already starting.

We were seated at a table with a cool sea turtle painting on it. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of local brews while looking over the menu.

The choice was easy for me, the Pamlico Pimento ($8.50 with a side). This sandwich combines house-made pimento cheese with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, house dressing, and drizzled with red pepper jelly on a grilled French roll. Wow, this was great! I really loved the sweet and spicy flavor of the jelly, and their pimento cheese is delicious.

Our entire family was happy with their meal. There isn't much restaurant competition in the area, but even if there was, Pass the Salt would be at the top of the list.

The food tasted good and was beautifully presented. Servers were very pleasant and courteous. We dined outside on their deck.

Fabulous and unique sandwiches and burgers! I have a hard time picking a favorite, but the bacon apple melt is one of my top choices! I've also had their fried oysters and Buffalo shrimp - both arel definitely on my "order again" list! Their beer selections are great, too! My favorite is the orange crush IPA with the Voodoo Ranger IPA my second favorite. Good choices of wines, too. Great atmosphere and very friendly service, too!

Wow. What a great little spot. Service was exceptional and staff was extremely friendly despite being slightly understaffed. Visiting from Wisconsin, and our family of picky-eaters enjoyed the food, beverages, and the great outdoor atmosphere. We will definitely visit again if we are ever in the area!

DO NOT PASS BY! What a wonderful little restaurant! The food was excellent and the menu had a great variety of sandwiches and dinner entrees.
The Greek Salad was large enough for us to split and the sun dried chicken sandwich was amazing as well as the side of macaroni and cheese. Five Stars! The only negative for me was the music was a tad too loud to enjoy conversation.

I loved this little cafe. I stopped in for a quick bite & take-out while waiting for the Corrituck-KI Ferry. What a gem to discover. The Mediterranean Bowl with couscous was delightful & the Pamlico Pimento was on grilled French bread was excellent - perfectly grilled. The cucumber salad is made with mandarin oranges with an Asian inspired dressing. The staff is friendly & accommodating. I can't wait to return & try more interesting items on the menu.

We were coming down from Norfolk Virginia for the day to go drive around Kitty Hawk and we came across this beautiful little restaurant! The service was friendly, and the food was absolutely outstanding! If you are headed through Currituck, I would highly recommend you stopping by and having some lunch! Thank you for the wonderful service!! We will be back!
